If you can cut the end of the bolts off that stick out of the welded nuts. DON'T cut the nuts. It will be that much less rusted junk to drag through the nuts lessening the amount of damage done.

Put my bestop back on today. Nice to have the topper back on there, hoping that I can still fit all the kayaks in there without my bed rack..

@MESO got me squared away with the resistors. No more reverse hyper flashing when parallel parking. Awesome doing business with them! @markram

Where did you buy that gas cap? Any trouble closing the gas lid with it on?

Put the OEM tailgate lock in last night. Toyota part # PK3B6-35JSO. Got it on Amazon from Elmhursttoyota for $165 with shipping and tax. It came with like a 30 page booklet for installation but 1 youtube video is really all you need. Only took about 25 minutes, hardest part was getting under the truck to run and support the cable. From what I can tell, it's a little quieter than the pop'n'lock version, but it's still kinda loud. It only unlocks with a double click, like the passenger and rear doors.

The manual shows you how to make it so EVERYTHING unlocks with one button push. I forget the actual instructions. But its in there.

I think it's just a matter of programming the key fob. I'm not sure if it has to be done at a dealership.
Not sure if I'd want the tailgate unlocking every time I got in the truck anyway.

You dont need the dealership. ITS IN THE MANUAL. It involves hitting the key fob buttons in a specific way .

Looking more like I'd imagined her now. Westcott kit, Icon tubular UCA w/ delta joint, Icon AAL w/overload, and 285/75/16 KO2 on stock Pro rims.

Caster @3.7*, no CMC or trimming, and no rubbing so far during normal driving.

Both back piece and the TRD emblem is from AliExpress, I just used 3m double sided tape. The whole thing I think it was around $5...dirt cheap, but takes a while to receive. Same goes for the red TRD emblem on grill, dirt cheap...maybe $2.50 CND...but I did see some from the States that sell similar stuff made of plastic for $18 US plus shipping , the one I got it's metal and like I said super cheap...just punch in TRD or Tacoma...tons of stuff

Started doing a few things. Also added Redline hood lifts, swapped bulbs for LED, blacked out the emblems, and swapped the chrome bumper pieces for color matched.

it's been a busy few days, threw on a trd pro skid, upgraded the negative batter terminal clamp, oil/filter change, tire rotation, finished the slide for the fridge, routed the harness to supply 12v power to the bed. will be finishing up the RTMR and battery cables tonight, then camping until tuesday.

Nah. It’s in the vehicle settings in the head unit. You can change how loud it beeps, if at all, how many beeps, lights, and button functions. Mine opens all doors with one click and is set at the lowest noise beep. You can’t hear it unless you listen for it, or it is actually quiet outside.
