I just put on a set my MGM Taco from the same seller a week or so ago and I'm happy with the color match on my set. Hopefully it's the same for you.

Installed my Meso Customs BD4 third brake light this weekend!




Also wrote a nice "little" writeup for anyone else that needs some help with it! Was pleasantly surprised with the simplicity of it all!

 

Not knocking but what's the point of this?

On another note, I was looking at getting a set to install on my prinsu for camp lights. Hows the brightness of them? One or two on each side?

 

The install of the brake light as opposed to the stock is just for looks. Wasn't fond of the chrome look of the stock one, and this fits the aesthetic I'm going with. Unnecessary? Sure! But it looks good to me!

Lights are definitely bright, two white ones light up the entire townhouse parking lot, so if you're looking to use them for camp lights I'd say go for it!

Appreciate it! Hope it helps anyone that's hesitant to attempt the install, it's definitely manageable.

 

I wasted money by mismeasuring the width of my bed and cutting the 2x4s for my truckbed sleeping platform too short by about an inch.

 

Can always cut shorter…. Oof. With the price of lumber !

 

I know! worst part I had cut long then didn't correctly gauge how much more to cut. at least the plywood I have is still good and it was only the studs

 

The plywood prices are astronomical. I saw $64 for ONE SHEET!

 

yeah. I'm just glad that have enough scrap left over from a project last year, to piece together the platform top for this project.

 

I’m sure it will turn out just fine!
