The 360 camera is really nice. OK if I add those two photos to the DIR thread?

Thanks! And go for it! I meant to do it a while back but I always forget if it's in the 3G section or BST. Lol.

    Technically, it was last evening.

    Flat.jpg

Luckily, I was only 2 miles from the house and the pressure held that I never got a warning. I was able to limp it slowly back home - had to swap to Lynn's car and head back out to crew a hot air balloon flight.

Tire is now flat...and while I was able to find plugs and glue....can't find the awl or plug tool. Off to Auto Zone this morning for a new repair kit and have already ordered a better full kit to carry in the truck. At least it's the right front so I can fix it without taking it off the truck.

Damn that stinks. Curious as to what kit you ordered to carry in the truck? I’ve been considering one to keep on board. Are these types of repairs permanent or just to get you back home or to a repair shop?

This is the kit I ordered on Amazon - liked that it was packed in a bag that I can put on my MESO overhead rack. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08SBFGMDB?ie=UTF8

The plugs should last the life of the tire. As long as you aren't too close to/in the sidewall, you should be able to plug them without worry.

Great idea with the noodles! I have had one of those bed extenders for a while and love it. I use it to haul lumber fairly often.

Here is my half-built 17.5 ft cedar strip canoe I had to haul to our new place. I took the long way there (no expressway).

    AC Leak Repair Update....

So I pick my truck up this AM as they had changed out the entire inside AC unit. Said the bottom case was warped a bit. Glad to have my truck back after almost 2 weeks. I forgot my remote so had to drove back up there to get it then filled it up with gasoline and got the truck washed. I get home after 30 minutes of driving around and guess what...It still leaks in the same exact spot! So I called and took it back up there and was told Toyota Corporate would have to step into this one. We will see what happens. The good thing is they heard I was coming back so they had my loaner Tacoma ready to go for me. It has gremlins in it. I think it was purchased then brought back due to the gremlin. Going down the road at night your dash and display lights go off and back on randomly. Sometimes it is 20-30 seconds sometimes it is 2-3 minutes between lights out/lights back on. It's a 2021 SR5 with only 2K miles on it.

I am thinking the case may be warping when the unit is bolted down. Yes, I do use Fresh Air intake constantly but nothing I do with the AC controls should ever make it leak inside.
