I just bent the silver bracket that came with the relays to 90* and then used the J hook bolt to hold in in place.

But I would love more info on those ballast brackets, mine are currently velcro'ed in place...

Used a silhouette desktop plotter to cut these out of Oracal 751 matte black vinyl.

Put them on an inch lower than factory in preparation for snugtop install.

Have a condo rented in Destin next weekend unfortunately Ida hit today will have to travel though it's path (from Texas) picked up a couple gas cans at tractor supply and stumbled on this sweet cargo rachet bar for 24$. Plan on picking up a 3rd can if I can find one and that should give us plenty of fuel to make it to FL without worrying. Installed Caliraised flag pole today also it's actually pretty sweet set up they have. Was hoping it would be big enough to hold fishing pole but to small diameter pipe, still pretty happy with it.

We're actually going to be in Fort Walton, Destin is just easier for people that don't know the area

Well, I live in Navarre, was just in FWB this afternoon, I usually tell people I am near Pensacola. Doing fishing here? I hope the water clears up soon, caught some nice Spanish Mackerel last week.

Did some minor trimming of the front fenders. (Hopefully that will be enough to fit 285s without rubbing) Set my SPC to setting (E) -1 Caster, to provide additional clearance in the rear part by the cab mount. (Hopefully the Cab Mount Chop won't be necessary)
My truck is scheduled for alignment next Saturday.

I didn’t even think of bending the top tab instead of the zip. That will be better because I’m constantly straightening it when I open the hood… so annoying.

I decided to stick with metric hardware to keep thing simple/similar and a m8 bolt was a better fit in the factory hole used (directly behind low beam bulb). I then used a rivet nut on the bracket because you won’t be able to access behind.

The neoprene washer between bolt and bracket isn’t needed but I felt like adding a cushion between the fender and bracket.

Hardware is from either ace or McMaster (pt# listed)
•Rivet nut pt#ala1-8125-3.8 (m8x1.25) *I used an air tool to set. 13.5mm drill bit (1/2” will work if you slightly wallow out the hole; 13.5=0.53)
•Bolt m8x1.25x16 (choose whatever you like, I went with zinc only because JIS 12mm head and I’ll use these for the 2 threaded holes in the fender by the fuse box) pt#430122mc
•m8 compatible neoprene type washer (optional)
•my ballast bolts are too long so I’ll be changing out with m3x.5x10 with the stop nut

Swapped my OEM Rigid fog lights for some Diode Dynamics SS3 Max SAE fogs. Wanted something that was more than window dressing, which is all the Rigids were good for.
Blown away at the amount of light these throw, it's like a second set of low beams. Should be fantastic for driving over passes at night in the snow.

Yes. It's a simple bolt on from Hellwig. If you're carrying some weight, say 500 lbs, and you're feeling the truck swaying on corners this will cure that completely up. I'm carrying a constant 2,000 lbs and the truck corners pretty darn flat. My other vehicle is a 13 year old Porsche; I like to corner

You just need a locking type...with gas prices...or some jerk putting stuff in there...just a suggestion. Don't know why but Toyota left out that feature...my 2012 Yaris has a locking gas door at least...but not a Tacoma that cost more than double...

I did the same thing in amber. It’s a huge upgrade! They are 100% plug and play too.

I went for a little Sunday drive yesterday and there were so many bugs playing kamikaze on my truck it sounded like I was driving through a rainstorm. I had to get rid of the guts.
