Replaced my stock radio knobs with the RAV4 knobs. It really makes a difference! Plus, it was the perfect size for the cutouts on the head unit screen protector.


Also, finally completed the A/C drain mod. I tried not to overtighten the clamp or the zip ties to hold down the hose.

 

I had this exact set up with the last shell. Great choice. I also had a locking box on the ceiling in the shell.

 

I like the look of your silver truck. I want to get a tint job on mine but dont know much about tinting or know anyone that does it. Local dealership sends ppl to some popular random place In town but they have yet to return my calls for a quote and details

I thought about adding the box , but ended up deciding not to. Ultimately ended up adding longer screws through the roof tracks and added climbing hooks underneath and added some netting.

I also wired in two Baja Designs dome lights. A white one for more light , and a red one for when we go camping.

 

I can but it’s gonna take a little time, it’s lengthy, this ‘34 has been around since ‘1997 and the awards are numerous. Will DM soon as I can.

 

3M Ceramic Nano Ceramic Tint All Around:

It may likely be the easiest thing you'll ever modify on the truck as it took no time at all.

Regarding the sound, I could hear a bit more of a throttle note when laying into it, but candidly, I can't roll down the windows because I am letting the tint cure, meaning it may be louder than I am letting on.

Performance-wise, butt dyno says no major changes, but I am KD Max Tuned, so my throttle response was beautiful before throwing it on. Best of luck and keep me posted as to your results!

Regarding finding a good tint shop if you don't know anything local, consider using Yelp. They actually have a request for a bid function that sends quote requests to multiple vendors in your area, meaning they will each send you individual pricing on what you are looking for:



As far as products go, my only caveat would be to ensure that you are getting the best film there is out there (3M in my opinion) and finding a shop that offers to explain everything:

 

Thanks man! I have the trd pro exhaust to pair with it and no tune. Noticed a big difference in shifting with just the exhaust

 

Time to annoy people.. I added these Raptor lights to only come on at night and they look much better in person than they do in the pic. You don't even notice them when they're not on.

 

I work making miniature sets and props for film and tv. Mostly stop motion animation but I also do live action stuff.

 

White Knuckle sliders mostly installed; I burned out my Milwaukee drill while drilling out the bottom mounting holes in the frame, so we'll have to see about a solution there. Still, feels very solid for now, don't think they're going anywhere before I can figure it out. Think these are maybe the nicest sliders though, super clean welds and well- constructed.

 

CBI T3 full overland skids and gas tank skid…quality is superb

 

Not sure where you are but keep us up to date on how it goes for you. I'm in Huntsville, East Texas, in the northern/western edge of the cone with a lot of rain predicted. Hilly terrain here but along the Trinity River east of us it can get bad especially with a lot of up-river rain.

 

Took me about two months to do all this but finally! I Added matte black wrap to go along with 5% tint. Running board, tonneau cover, push to start, bed lighting, interior LED lights, shift knob and soon power gate lock

 

Did you do the wrap yourself or have it installed at a shop? The matte black looks great, I was considering something similar but I'm afraid of the cost and how it would hold up to abuse, esp off road. I wrapped the emblem on my 2020 grille with a dark matte clear before switching out the whole grille, and using a heat gun it was much easier to do than I first thought, but feel like doing the entire truck would be quite challenging
