I'm out of warranty, is there any further documentation that this is a full recall and free?

To be honest, I was terrified that I was going to be cinching down the bolts and hear a loud, disturbing 'crunch' as I broke something expensive...but it didn't happen:cheers:.

I tightened the bolts about 1/8 turn at a time and kept an eye on the rubber seals....once they were compressed down the bolts felt tight, so I just stopped. I had so little room to work that it was easy not reefing down on the nuts.

Near as I can suss out, new fibreglass is far more forgiving than old, and the rubber seals take up the slack nicely.

The mounts are rock solid, they still aren't leaking, and nothing cracked or crushed or broke...so it IS possible if you you curb your enthusiasm with the wrench :)

It’s the small things… though i did have to find out the hard way that patches don’t just stick on to the headliner. Pardon the absolute state of my front end, could wash it every day and it’d still look like this

I went down to my local topper/camper shell/ cap dealer, to place an order for a leer/are cap. Drove away with this instead 0AED739C-9198-4B44-AE44-E7136DAFFA00.jpg

Hopefully these will go better with the Kings than the current 20" TE37X.
