What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I wanted light weight, which put me to either 5052 or 6061 aluminum (weldable)
Of the two, 5052 has better forming characteristics, I had access to a manual brake, which was at its limits, and mine with 3/16 plate.

 

Sure did. I didn’t realize it when I ordered so it was a nice surprise

 

That was the first thing I did when I got home from the dealer

Hello,

I took off the vent cover and drilled the three holes for the screws. It’s extremely durable and strong and I believe it will last for many years.

Got the tail lights on. Very happy yes

 

Installed my Garmin 66 Dash Cam with the Parking mode recording harness hard wired to vehicles fuse panel

 

Tail lights look great and I gotta say that tailgate graphic looks fantastic.

 

How many hours of work do you estimate this took?

So how do you like it is it slick when wet? or did you add some sort of anti- slip stuff too it

 

Dunno if it's slick when wet but I suspect it is. Would be easy enough to put some of that grip tape on it but it would punch a nice hole in a rice rocket radiator as is.

 

I like that. Possibly the only problem with that location, is that it may interfere with the defrosting of the drivers side window; from the horizontal dash vent that can be obscured once the device is cradled.

 

Drove to downtown Pensacola for an appointment this AM and saw this 110’ amazing yacht, much more impressive in person, I could definitely see this in my future
