Went from the cheap off-road trim shifter to the pro and now the trd ball. After 8 years driving with a ball shifter on my mustang, I missed it, so went back to one. Haven’t tried it, since I just cut my thumb bad enough that I had to go get 8 stitches.

It is not difficult at all. Just start slow from the back. There are a LOT of contact points. Pull up on them close to where they connect and do it slowly and deliberately. The plastic will bend so take your time.

Some videos on YouTube show people just ripping it up all at once. Do not do that.
