Sounds like a good plan -- good luck!

I wanted to throw out there that might not be a bad idea to look at Craigslist or FB Marketplace. Depending on where you are, I am seeing a lot of never used (!) or used no more than a few times roof top tents for sale for a pretty good price. I think there are a number of folks who bought them with the intent to use them but are now dumping them for heavy discounts.

Just a thought worth considering ...

The black SR Grille Surround would look awesome in place of that chrome!

get out of my brain! I’m likely going to do swap them out, I don’t mind the rest of the stock grill but the chrome has got to go!

I did the same thing, and it’s a pretty easy swap. Just be aware that not all tabs need to be removed to swap the surround, and they break pretty easily. Just match up the tabs on your existing surround with the new surround, and pop those. Also, don’t drop one of the screws that you have to remove down into the tiny little gap between the surround and the rest of the grille. It’s a pain to get out. Haha

Check out the Suma Performance mirrors. They do not have that small section that sticks out, they have BSM compatible mirrors with integrated turn signals. Several options to chose from.
I feel as thou they look much cleaner with one piece of glass. Mine are going strong even after several whacks on the trails where I almost ripped the whole mirror off. I was surprised the glass didn't break.

Thanks bro. I looked at them also. I have a set on my 2015 wrx and didnt like that part of it didnt heat up all the way especially since i get snow. The outer part. I asked the owner and he said that spot is saved for if you have turn signals.

Also when i got my taco in 2020 of may ive watched many of your vids on youtube!

These were supposed to be back in stock in September. They are probably on a boat just west oh Los Angeles. R4t sells them also, and you can get on the email list when they come back in stock. Sorry I should’ve tagged an earlier post though.

Not today, but when I got married a few months ago the wedding photographer captured a very drunk groom (me) and groomsman standing next to my Tacoma

Made a front hitch for the winch or rack for hauling deer. Didn't want it to high or too low so went in between.
