Installed ome uca's. People said the driver side was easier. I found it to be harder. The passenger side I got done way faster then the driver side but it was my first time doing it. I even bought new bolts just in case i decided to cut them. Had a buddy help me which made it a bit easier.

Made a world of difference in the seating position. My sciatic nerve usually starts going after 1.5 hours and no pain on 3 hours today.

Did that AC drain mod today, thinking about leaving this umbilical cord on. Think it'll get in the way while on the trail?

Finally got my KO2 (275/65r18) installed. The manager at Discount Tires in Auburn, WA adamantly stated it’ll rubbed on my stock suspension. He almost didn’t want to sell me the 275/65 KO2. He said he knows a thing or two.

I originally ordered the 275/70r18 which he didn’t want to sell me. He thinks I didn’t know anything. I told him the 275/70 wouldn’t rubbed but after 15 minutes he finally sold me the 275/65. I wasn’t happy at all.

It takes some time but is easy... it's basically just plug and play. I could have done it for about $25 cheaper if I'd made the harness myself, but this was so convenient since it was already loomed, the perfect length and had all of the connectors crimped on and insulated.

I used an existing hole in the cubby to pass through the wires, then drilled a hole and used a jigsaw to cut the opening for the panel in the cubby lid. That way it's totally reversible and nothing's permanent (aside from needing a new cubby door). I really didn't want to put a hole in the bed, and this way the wiring will be out of the weather (once I seal up the drain holes in the bottom of the cubby).

Took me about two hours ... but if I had to do it again, would probably only take 45 minutes, maybe 30 minutes if I'd had a lift. I started at the back and worked my way to the front and ended up rerouting things a few times when I couldn't find something to ziptie or if the cable was too near something hot.

I ran it up and over the spare tire, then all the way up the driver's side frame rail, then kind of followed the brake lines up the firewall, tucked it in near another harness, then ran it up to the battery and chassis ground.

FYI this is unswitched (always powered/doesn't go off with the ignition) so you can inadvertently run your battery down if you leave the cooler going or whatever. It does have its own switch that lights up when it's on.

Really happy with how it turned out, and this way we can put the cooler and all the wires and stuff in the bed instead of in the back seat with wires everywhere.

    A bunch of junk
I ran mine one the left side. It's pretty simple, just takes a lot of wire. I ran mine to my voswitch for simplicity and swapped one port out for another that reads volts.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
I got the last of the non essential electronics out of the 19 and wired the starter the way it is on my 84 hilux. Once the cable driven throttle is on and tested, I'll be doing a write up on that.
