I thought the same. Apparently Costco is the best in terms of octane accuracy.

I don't know about that. I've gotten bad gas from Costco before, from their food court too. o_O I prefer shell gas.

I have found that "early in the tank" fuel averages tend to be optimistic! So I always wait to confirm with the pump receipt!

they are OEM from the toyota dealership. (Limited trim comes with them already installed) For the double cab it comes with all 4. I was very careful to clean the surface before installing them (dry method not wet) and they are holding up great!

Welcome Steve! Congrats on the truck also. The “truck camping and photo thread” shows tons of ideas as well as many other threads here. All the info and combinations will make you dizzy. If you can’t find anything you like by looking around on this site, it probably doesn’t exist yet

Here is my take on Costco gas and accuracy/quality. There is Shell or Chevron on every corner, while we only have one Costco that always has lines of cars. So I would imagine that single Costco gets gas delivered more frequently so doesn't sit as long in the hold tanks. Random theory, and probably way off, but sounds sound.

Costco gas here is a mere 2 cents cheaper than other local gas stations. While every penny counts, the amount of gas I would expend to go to Costco, would negate the 2 cents saving. Oh well.

My 2019 has intermittent's... Wonder if it was an option? Seeing as original owner seems to have gotten all of the available options... Stupid JBL sub taking up my behind seat storage space... Grrrr!!

Also look up Project Farm (YouTube), the guy does an outstanding demonstration on poop gas containing ethanol vs premium gas with 0 ethanol. After all, it's everyone's choice...and like the saying goes " you get what you are paying for"...
