What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Just made them after posting that. Simple job but will work for the winter snow and mud. I like the ones under the truck above too! These cost me about $10.00 total but real strong to bang on but not hit getting in and out. Trucks wet snow melting off it? What do those OEM Running Boards cost? Might go that way later just today we were trying figure how to clean the boots off from snow.

 

Im gathering they give you a starting point for the stripping?

OEM one like @Canadian Caber look like they’re $270-$290. I have the same set on my 2018 DCSB. Toyota says it doesn’t fit 3rd gen but it definitely does. Double cab part #

Well I didn't do anything to the 3rd gen today. However I did put a deposit on a 2022 army green TRD Off Road premium 4Runner for my wife this morning. The dealer thinks 3 to 4 months before she has her new ride.

I’d agree. After completing the process the templates weren’t critical. The templates were a good reference point though.

 

The funny thing is she has never been a fan of adding anything to her vehicles. After we left the dealership first thing she says is " do you think we can get some of those bronze rims those would look badass." I might be in trouble, at least my wallet might be.

Got good deal on 20 TRD Pro taillights. So much better than the all red.

Bought some TRD Pro headlights (AlphaRex Luxx) too, but FedEx fucking around with the delivery. So it'll have to be just tails for now.

 

It quit going and was blinking red after 30 degree.... then my low oil light came on so I backed down

 

Today I put in Diode Dynamics map, dome, visor, license LED’s plus their XPR backup lights. Much better having everything on the truck the same heat range. Those reverse lights are super bright!
Yesterday ‘ordered’ a Rav 4 XSE Hybrid for the Mrs. since her CRV is worth a chunk more than we paid. Same dealer I got the OR from - they take really good care of me! Priced out a CRV hybrid and they wanted 3k over MSRP, and 3k less on trade value. No thanks.

@Willy-N Yeah price match around. Canadian price was $544.00 installed. In my new truck buying stupidity & excitement I added them in when purchasing. I later realized it was far better to shop around for those accessories and or at least negotiate with the parts guy.

 

Haven't settled yet after 2 days but have it on S6 too for now. Figured a few weeks to feel each setting as I don't drive it a lot. One thing for sure is that lazy pedal response is history, nice improvement.

 

Trailer brakes???
