Thanks! Yes it is supposed to help with the glare a lot. I mostly got it because I like how it looks though. It would definitely help protect the factory paint from most smaller debris hitting as well.

I am not sure why you posted this, really. At no point in my post did I say he was guilty. I was merely pointing out that a lot of people follow the guy's videos -- and some of them are pretty interesting recoveries, for sure.

Personally, I think it is a huge misunderstanding and the guy was doing what he was doing for entertainment value. Not sure that justifies such a harsh punishment but I assume it will get worked out.

Plenty of things to get worked up about but this shouldn't be one of them.

Installed the Subaru kicker tweeters today. Found them on a sweet deal from a member over in the GA specific buy/sell/trade. I had no idea just how subpar the sound was before (I have the 8” premium screen but non JBL). Even got some sound deadening material for whenever I get around to replacing door speakers.

Install only took about 20 minutes. Thankfully I was able to get my 1/4” drive and short 10mm down on the screws closest to the windshield. Definitely saved me some trouble

I had some trail damage to my front right wheel well which ended up never aligning properly. Thought prying the bottom portion open might kill two birds with one stone and straighten it back somewhat to normal while installing the headlight, but alas no go on that idea.

Will probably need to tackle that problem by itself on its own soon. Also I ended up scratching up some of the lens while wiggling same side of the new headlight. I think that corner of my truck is cursed.

I think it’s bc the back cover has lines all over it which makes it dim and that it’s also recessed in the roof

Ha none of installs are as easy. Even that screen pro tech is a pain to install

This is a friendly nudge or reminder for anyone who has been procrastinating on or planning to do the fuel rotation from your Jerry can or Rotopax to your truck’s gas tank. I did the fuel rotation; maybe, you should, too. o_O:thumbsup:

    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!
after seeing the comparison thread in the ultimate headlight forum, I'm sold on the PRO LEDs. I have a 2019 Pro. Not sure what the harness looks like, but i'm positive it looks like any other 2019 Pro/OR harness (haha)

I initially wanted to do the BHLM and put the Lexus projectors in. I've don't the mods before to other cars, its not hard, just time consuming and murder on your finger trying to pry the housing apart. But as much as I like the idea of a bi-xenon projector, I really, really like the look of the pro leds and the switch back signal/drl. I questioned the lumens of the Alpharex Luxx and their reliability vs. the cost. The Alpha rex quad projectors are nice, but it appears you can pick up a new set of pro leds for less than the cost of the alpha rex quads, and have oem equipment installed on the vehicle.

I'll for sure check out @daveeasa for the harness too!

    Thanks

Why would it make you nervous? That's actually a very solid mounting spot. It's really secure, I was able to tighten down pretty good on the new supplied bolt, and threw come dielectric grease on it for good measure, also helped lubricate the strut joint (BONUS!). Also, if the bolt happens to go south one me, I'll run one strut. The struts are actually strong enough that just one holds the hood, not at full height, but as high as the rod.

How do you like those Milestars so far? They look so mean, such an aggressive tread and sidewall edging, I like 'em. But, hows the daily driving on them? Noise? Cornering and braking traction? I know they're an M/T and all, but some do better for the daily grind than others.

How is the wind noise on the freeway with the Prinsu? I really like the idea of having the rack, but the hooke road rack my truck had when i bought it sucked! It sounded like a tornado storm doing anything above 30 mph.
