What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I have the hooke on my pro, originally the noise was ridiculous and I regretted buying it. Once I took off the front fairing and put a light bar in its place the noise was almost completely gone. Even with two cases on top and an awning on the side the wind noise is barely noticeable.

 

And my wait is over! Showed up today while I was at work. Thank you!

 

The KTJO Heads Up Display (HUD) showed up today that I didn’t expect to ever show up, partly because it was from KTJO and partly because I tried to cancel my order after I ordered the OEM Audio + system and realized that this would block the tweeter.

 

Ordered some Red Accent for the Prinsu Rack today. Figure it should look good and seal up air gaps at the same time.

How many items do you have plugged into it now? I saw in the picture that you have a light bar, anything else? Where did you mount the control panel?

 

Wish the camera on my phone didn't suck so bad. They look much better in person.

 

I don't have a light bar. I have ditch lights, back up flood light, power panel in the bed, and a iceco fridge

Enhanced my factory alarm today by installing the

$219 PT398-35160 Vehicle Intrusion Protection Security System

PT398-35160 GBS. I have the PDF instructions if anyone needs it. Easy, but don’t be a dummy, disconnect the negative terminal on the battery first. Need: small flat head screwdriver for sensitivity adjustments, 10mm deep socket, nylon pry tool, cutter for zip ties and flashlights. P.S. perfect opportunity to add grease to battery terminal to prevent corrosion.

You only have to make 3 connection’s, after you plug the sound sensor and the GBS module in. I needed to set my sensitivity level to 10. (The range is 1-11.) Bang on the truck, not triggered. My son parked next to me and revved his V8 GT to the limiter (Roush exhaust) and alarm never triggered. Just barely tap on windshield or any side windows with any object and the alarm is instantly triggered. Very pleased

You will have to let us know your thoughts on it when you get it installed. I really like a hud on vehicles. My Denali had one and I used it all the time. My wife doesn’t really care for them she said it is a distraction to her.

You're right, I don't "need" either one. My 04' can go anywhere I need to go. It's more of a want/retirement gift to myself.

 

I'd still say get a sport and put 15k into it

 

Tinted front windows to match the rear windows. Installed window rain guards. Upgraded grill to Pro grill, added TRD skid plate. More to go but taking baby steps.

 

Swapped out the TRD beadlock style wheels today and put on the SCS F5’s. I love the fitment, not too much poke.

 

Flapskis been on for a few weeks now to keep the gravel and road salt out of the underbits. The front flaps are all black.
