Swapped to a flat hood, and I hate to say it but put some hikari led bulbs in the factory housings to hold me over until I fork out the money for oem leds.

 

My son is loving his first Tacoma at 10 years old… early Christmas present that I just couldn’t wait to give from Santa lol

Glad to see more RC Tacoma's. Not a bad RTR IMO but had to mod mine. Lol

 

Installed a new battery tie down on my 21 Tundra Limited, Army Green.

 

I’ve modded a little bit too. LCG battery tray, hex adapter wheel spacers, shock mounts and body mounts to the hard plastic and I’ve added the brass weights the the wheel hubs plus went to 1.9” general grabber x3 tires with method wheels and a reef 555 servo and aluminum servo horn. I’ve got a hobby wing ESC ready if the reedy oem ESC goes out anytime. In all honesty the traxxas is the better built RTR. The Trx4 is built like a tank just like our rustler 4x4 is. The scaling of the element rc knight runner is unreal though and it’s a very capable crawler itself especially with a few mods.

Working on the drawer for the camp chef grill. The drawer is gonna be 30x19x6.5
Ran out of time today but mounted the fridge slide to the top for now with the fridge. When it's all done and warm, it'll get painted with bed liner.

Well you did it the right way and did the better functioning mods. Mine are just visual. Yea the scaling is off a bit so I actually went with 1.9 and smaller tires. My 3d printed Minime is about as close to scale as I can get but it's just a working display. Lol
