Nope, it doesn't. The last panel stays put.

Ahhh, ok. I think most of my confusion was just about why a front camera would be a thing in the first place, and desirable. Had to dig up a video showing the "why". Not something I feel like I need or want, but I at least 'get it' now.

We’ve hiked a SMALL amount of it where it goes through the state near us. And we camp up in the area. There’s a section here that is 4WD that you can get to some nice lookouts and out of the way spots from it.
You’re a monster if you rode the whole thing! We were up there late summer 2020 and came across a guy sitting under a tree. We stopped to talk, and he was in the midst of hiking the whole thing, Mexico to Canada! He said he’d started in May and he was expecting to finish in October.
I have a picture of the sign as my start up logo as well.

I wanted a place out of the way that I can get to without having to open the hood or doors. This way if the battery is 100% dead, I can plug in and get enough power to open the doors (I have not used my key in over 3 years, so im sure the keyhole is locked up by now)

Getting rid of the softopper and went with a bed rack. Will eventually add a RTT. Also, switched out the BD S2's for Squadron sports for the ditch lights. Will put the S2's on the rack for chase/camp lights.

That's the one major feature I wish the truck I just bought had: keyless all the things. After having a Mazda3 with it for 8 years, it pisses me off every time I have to pull my key out of my pocket. Alas it was never an option on the MT for some reason so I have to look at aftermarket options that have few pros and several cons.

That's my biggest gripe about my OEM tri-fold and tri-folds in general. You lose that bed space due to the non-folding 3rd panel. Not that big of a deal, but kind of has been for me. It is pretty easy to take off and put on if needed though. And mines a soft cover. Would rather have it hard.

    Why, thank you!

I met her in England Feb 1989...she was turning 18 on the same month! I was turning 23 in June of the same year. I'm retired USAF.

We married the following year...March 1990.

I remind her she is my life partner...and I have an obsession with my Taco. lol

Installed the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro fog lights and aimed them. Super simple job if you take the grill off.

Anyone know if I can access the back of the center console switch panel if I take off the climate control panel just above it? I need to get at that USB port. Thanks.

Actually I think Lomax has a model where the last panel folds up. Can't recall for sure, but worth digging for/asking about.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
Uncoated (Anti-reflection or "tinted" are both considered coatings) glass reflects 4% of the incident light per surface. So at least an 8% loss of illumination for an inside panel. This due to the refractive index of glass (n=1.52, opposed to air and N=1)

Windshield glass is thick and laminated, so must have additional absorption loss. I would bet an additional 4-5%

And that is at normal incidence. sunlight coming in at an angle will have even greater losses.

An amp meter could provide a useful comparison.

Exactly, take the grill off and the install becomes much easier. Most videos I've seen show people accessing through the front fenders or making a big reach from up top. Aiming them is essential. Diode Dynamics makes some very bright lights.
