The regular posts saying this needs to be done periodically keeps it on my mine. If not, I would never do it. She's as pavement Princess and short of a natural disaster, will probably need see dirt.

Thanks again. There’re darker in person and look decent. Experimenting a little.

I just put the same Borla with the black on mine last week, and I love it! I also got a hat I'm not sure what to do with. Maybe if I go to a Nascar race I could wear it?

I really lucked out on this one. I bought them off a guy on Kijiji just outside of Toronto. He had bought them for his 18 and never installed them, and bought the 22 Nightshade which come with LEDs. He had the fogs too and the harness to plug and play everything. Got it all for $850 cdn.

Yeah, you're spot on. After adding all the mods I wanted that come on the Pro, I'm at Pro pricing. I'll just be more patient and put down a deposit on the first available...appreciated the feed back.

Cost isn't everything. Mods are also fun. Even if you're turning a lower spec model into a higher spec model, it's still built instead of bought.

You say built not bought like that makes any semblance of difference. It only matters to the person who feels that way. A lot of people want something already built, or something they can modify lightly. And buying a Tacoma and throwing suspension and racks on it and other things is def not “built”. Built is heavy modification of frame, suspension etc

You may notice my pic is of a 2004 Tacoma, she has 286K on the clock. I've done more than my fair share of wrench turning on her over the years. Going to spoil myself with the Pro and limit my mods to lighting and the simple stuff.

And I bring it up only to appeal to a person that would appreciate that aspect. If TacoYankee is a person that does, cool. If not, also cool.

Also, the definition of "built" is open to interpretation. While I do value more invasive mods over the typical bolt on, or even glue on like the stupid amber grille lights that came with my truck and got promptly removed with a chisel but I digress, I still believe that basic bolt-ons are closer to being built than just rolling off the lot with a cookie-cutter Pro.

That works too. So long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

Hey don't feel bad. My '21 Subaru didn't have any of it either and now in the Tacoma I do have it, but I find myself still pulling the key fob out of my pocket all the time and even when I am sitting in the truck I do the "lean and dig" until I realize I don't need to, lol.
