Installed the Prinsu Cab Rack (waiting for the light bar in the mail), added the Caliraised bed stiffeners, and added my homemade bed mat that I made from a horse stall mat.

Bummer not doing that to the truck to put a after market bumper on. Found a Video of how it is put on. Changed my mine. Guess I keep the stock one way to much new stuff to remove and cut up for it.

At least with the SSO Slimline you remove the aluminum crash bar and bolt into the six spots the crash bar used.

Same thing with the Body Armor one. The crash bar gets removed, you'll reuse 6 nuts and then add another bolt/nut that BA supplies.

I hope they don't want you to unbolt that box aluminum for crash protection to be replaced with the outside bumper? I won't do that. Not looking to take the factory protection off engineered into the truck for this bumper? I wanted to add a strong outside bumper not remove what was there to protect you. This bumper is not that good? Bet I would void all kinds of stuff including insurance protection if I did that being brand new 2022!?

    Minor stuff.
Took mine of for some off road fun in 18” of snow. Cannot believe how great it handled. Most of the trails were already compacted down but I hit a couple of fresh trails. And I let the boy have some time behind the wheel as well.

I was behind my friend, he was driving a 68 mustang with the little 289 in it. When he would get on it those big ass Mickey Thompson’s would get skinny and narrow, that car would lift a couple inches up, and smoke the tires. So the faster it goes, the more of it is gonna be pushed outwards.

That piece of aluminum is the bumper. The plastic piece on the outside is just for looking at.

If he was smoking tires they were spinning, not just rolling, so they would get taller until he hooked up again. Also, unless it was set up specifically for drag racing then it probably experienced a bit of torque lift, where the toque applied to the wheels causes the rear axle to try to rotate against the leaf springs and it lifts the rear of the car a couple inches. Kind of like a lift kit that only works until you either get scared or run out of RPM. Then again, I could be pulling this entirely from my rectum. Somebody that actively lives that live-axle drag life might be able to call B.S. on my theory.

You can also use lami-x if you don't feel like spending a couple hundred. It's worth it tho, imo, to get the pro's.
Nice. Plans to add a swing gate? I tucked my spare under the truck barely but I won't be able to do it if/when I go bigger. Considering options and was leaning towards the C4 rear, but I like this one with the option to add a swing gate style spare mount and fuel cans.

I do actually. The swing out is still sitting in my den, ha. I was sore after throwing this on today. Plus it won't fit in my garage with the swing out on.

Here's a pic from his site.
