Nice. One of these days I'm hoping to build the F9 when they finally release it... and I have the money, and the work area, and the time, and more money.

image of old headlight so im not posting something with no photos lol

Went offroading not too long ago and had some major short in my camper shell that screwed up my driving lights and blinkers (left side only)

After a lot of diagnostics from my local shop @DesertRatAZ and my dealership, we were able to rule out anything factory, and honed in on the headlights.

Called AlphaRex and explained what had happened. Within a short 5 minutes we were already discussing shipping for a warrantee replacement for my AlhphaRex Nova series for the driver's side headlight and the DRL Converter (since my OEM headlights were basic halogen)

Got the headlight only 2 days later and swapped it out. Now everything is working again!

Just wanted to give a MAJOR shout out to @AlphaRexUSA for having amazing products and even better customer support! If anyone is in the market for some great headlights/tail lights and wants a quality product for their money, AlphaRex has your back!

So, they are all backed up so just placed order and wont get it until about December. No, ill prob have it done within a year and hopefully more like 6 months. It shouldn't take that long to build.
That is a cool looking concept! Yeah, time and money is a huge factor for sure. That's why a lot of people do them over years to space out buying the motor and tranny etc.

Sticker number 2 is on the truck. Big shout-out to @c_mento_taco_808 on Instagram. He sent me this out and has a great how to video that made lining it up a breeze.

It's really not bad to put on? I've been looking at a similar one, but with solid white Toyota lettering. I just feel like I'd screw up the install.

oh for sure I planned on messing it up. But it is not that sticky and it peels off with a quick pull. I was able to do it on my lap on the couch, even peeled the T side a couple of times to readjust it onto the emblem, my first lay down was about an inch off to the left. Then I just slowly worked my finger around the edges and if it started to wrinkle, pick up the vinyl a little and start at it from the opposite side. Took about 3 minutes to Lay it down, 1-2 minutes to heat the edges, and 30 seconds to cut the excess with an exacto. It was 20-30$ so I bought a backup.

That's awesome! Did you order the whole kit up front or will you order the body after the frame and driveline are done? CA is kinda finicky with registration on hot rods/kit cars, so you might want to research that. I believe Factory Five provides a vin with their kits though.
I've looked at their cars a few times at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale and I'm partial to their 35 truck, but without the fenders. :burnrubber:

The body and frame are part of the kit. Then you can add accessories. Motor and transmission are separate purchase as is the paint. THey do provide a VIN and many people have registered them in CA. Just a long process compared to a regular car. Yeah, they have some very cool vehicles out there for the DIYer

Bosch Icon wipers … Gawd the OEM wiper blades suck:

    - The wiper blade compound is too stiff at cold temps. Specifically, Tg, the glass transition temperature needs to be lower. The OEM blades take the shape of the glass when parked/stowed, but this shape does not sweep the glass clean when needed (in cold wx).

    - The wiper arms have too many edges and gaps that trap snow and ice build-up; again preventing the blades from fully sweeping the glass clean.
