What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I had the fab fours rear bumper like after I back into a tree wheeling when I first got my truck. At the time I thought well I’m not thru this again hence the steel bumper. Fast forward 6 months later to Christmas when a high/drunk idiot drove into my garage my truck in it:

Kicker 47KSC2704 Mids. Decided these over the Kicker tweeters for now.

Just take you time soldering in the capacitors. Everything else is a cakewalk.

No, the Kickers came with mounts the same as OEM.

Despite what you read on the interwebs, even a TRD Pro grill can’t provide 360 protection against the stupids of the world

 

I haven’t compared bumpers in depth but this looks to be the cleanest I’ve seen

 

Hey the accident got my truck some upgrades and my garage. The fab fours saved the truck from serious damage…everything damaged was cosmetic and my block garage got the whole front face redone which it made the openings a foot wider, new doors and the whole building got painted (got $20k to fix the garage from homeowners and auto insurance paid out $6k in damages)

Decided to de-chrome and edit the badge.

 

That "Taco" edit is pretty cool. How did you go about doing that? Any pointers?

 

Removed it and cut it off the rest with a dremel and carefully sanded the edge.
Just put a primer and then black spray paint and a couple layers of a clear coat.
Then reapplied it with 3m tape.

Not on my third gen but on my dad’s ninth gen Corolla……

Noticed a few weeks ago it was approaching the milestone when I took it to fill it up for him. No lag when you hit the gas like our electronic accelerator crap, this thing gets it! Think it would take the Tacoma off the line.
