    Just getting started.
Tackling the chrome and decided to give the Plasti-dip method a try. Easy enough to apply, but I'm not sure how well this will hold up, but at least it's "reversible."

Perhaps a wash is in order...

Of course I'm really excited for is installing these this weekend! UpTop Overland TRUSS and eX Alpha with color matching plates... 16' lumber haul next week.

I had a Mustang for a rental while the Taco was in the shop. Was never into Fords, but damn, I loved driving that thing. When it all settles down, I will have one.......

Just be careful around pedestrians. Mustangs have a bad tendency to act like a dog that wants to say hi to every human it sees, especially if there's a crowd.

I’ve witnessed a mustang do this at an intersection near home. Guy was making a left turn, got on it and kept going left right into a car waiting at the stop sign. Driver was probably 20 if that. Hard lesson learned. Tore off the front of the mustang and t-boned a pregnant woman! o_O

Tuned it to OTT (Overland tailor tune) and wow! Night and day difference. This baby takes off! No more gear hunting, makes the truck so much drivable and comfortable.

Anyone interested in California OC/LA/SD area hit up my dude.

freaking idiot. I think if you're going to have a fun RWD car you should make time to take it to a autocross/track/skidpad and not only learn how it behaves but also scratch that itch off of public roads.

Agreed. Our auto tech instructor instilled this in us to use one of the local backroads to learn the limitations of our individual vehicles for practical purposes of course. In a sense it’s the same reason I take my truck to Hollister Hills and play around in the obstacle course(s) to learn what my limitations are before getting in over my head on a trail I have no business on.

Looks a lot like the 5100's painted silver, just with less adjustability, and a TRD sticker.

Wowwie. Yes they are. But they’re available unlike 5100s and cost about $100 a corner. Everything you just said is reason enough to buy these over 5100.

my Plasti-dip emblems lasted about 3 years before they started to fade. You can also get some Plasti-dip glossifier and spray it on top of the black to help it keeps it’s color longer.

Installed the frame cap from Kaizen Offroad to get rid of that useless extension on the front frame. I must have gotten one of the last ones they had on hand because it's now sold out on their site. Oh well a few other folks online sell similar stuff...

No idea what purpose they serve, but I like the cleaner look without them better…

Since from my untrained eye I got rid of an aerodynamic hinderance, I'm expecting at least a 2 MPG improvement in highway gas mileage lol...

Yep, when I was a kid I was well known for pulling some Dukes of Hazard level shit in my Nissan 200sx tearing up the backroads of Oklahoma (105mph on gravel is... an experience, especially for the nervous soul in my passenger seat :p). I learned a ton about how a vehicle can be driven, what happens when you push the envelope, and how far that envelope can bend before you go to war with a tree.
