Something I never thought I'd do. Made an order through Tacoma Lifestyle and a code for a free patch... and this is what has happened...

    None.
Installed a ProClip cellphone mount that has an integrated (Apple) Lightning plug for the iPhone. No more hunting for the CarPlay/charging cable.

    Nothing yet
No photos, i was too hungry to snap any today.

Had my front coilovers adjusted to get the lift back i lost when adding the front bumper and winch. Its great having a mechanic near you that is good at what he does. 1 inch rake now. More tire clearance, and the alignment is pretty dang good.

Not a very exciting post without photos, so here is my dog.

I agree. It looks great and you’ll be fine. People do mods on their trucks on here that impact safety way more and these same people don’t complain.

    Just getting started.
Finishing out this lovely day (the weather here in North Texas is perfect... I might have a cigar out back later) with installing the Spiker Engineering hood struts (the two strut system); I decided on a 7" additional lift over stock:

    IMG_4900.jpg

Tomorrow I'm going to try to install the UpTop bed rack and the LED under hood lights I picked up from Matt Gecko. I love a long weekend while the wife is out of town.

OEM LED fogs finally came today. All in all pretty easy install compared to the headlights these were a breeze.

No more bulbs to worry about. Sure they’re not bright yellow anymore, but I think that look is getting long in the tooth - especially for Tacos that don’t go hardcore off-roading.

Lived in Colorado over 20 years, but can’t get the (Southern) California out of me and believe me I try. Even became a Nuggets fan ever since LeDouche ruined the Lakers…

These days I gag every time I see a California license plate out here these refugee bastards clogging up the roads and inflating housing prices…

Are you trying to go brighter or dimmer on your fogs? DD Pros or Maxs would be a better upgrade.

    Far as I know:
    - "long in the tooth" look is an understatement, as yellow fogs have been around since before WW2.
    - yellow fogs have nothing to do with "hardcore" off-road use (unless you go off-roading in heavy fog).
    - yellow light is used to penetrate thick/heavy fog without the light glaring back at you and reducing your visibility ahead. They are for use on any surface travel in fog.
(don't know if they allow you to be seen sooner by on-coming traffic more than any other color, but that would be a nice advantage.)

I don’t have my MT Tacoma yet (maybe next week), can you tell me if that is the clutch master cylinder near the new strut, and did you have to move it to install the strut? Thanks for your time.
