TRD PRO style shift knob on the budget price($35). No etched in TRD logo but I have a decal coming soon from TVD.

Installed the gap shield today. Please don’t give me shit about the Tacomabeast sticker…it’s gonna be taken off

 

When you are applying torque, bump the fitting (toward the axle) with a hammer or chunk or brass/copper. Sometimes the shock load will allow it to move.

Thanks. I’m very pleased with the way they turned out.

1” x 2” retangular aluminum tubing
1” x 2” rectangular plastic hole plugs
1.38” ball knob 5/16-18
5/16-18 stainless threaded rod & lock nuts
5/16” rubber screw thread protectors

Bought some of the materials through Amazon and some at the hardware store. I re-used the clamp hardware from my old tonneau cover to mount it to the bed utility track.

 

Added rock lights last night before the snow started to fall. Thanks @DSIM for making a great plug and play kit. I couldnt be happier with how easy the kit is to install and the functionality of it.

 

Got one to change some settings.

 

Bought the TRD knob on ebay for something like 60 bucks shipped. Don't recall. But it was something I really wanted. Was not thrilled about how the stock knob felt so tiny... plus, between the Skewp, TRD skid, and now the TRD knob, I'm pretty sure I'm over 300hps.

What mounting brackets are those? How’s the hood glare? I got the low profile Caliraised brackets on the Baja designs s8. Thinking of getting other brackets to move the bar further back and avoid glare.

 

Took out the seats and threw in a custom rear seat delete. Such.a.pain.in.the.ass.

well now toyota is doing it at the factory

 

They test all the lights and functions & they are under video surveillance by the RMV.

 

you could turn your lights off when backing up if they are too bright for you
