Thanks, but they are not compatible with my cover. Bak products drop the side rails down 1-1.5 inches.

I'm actually not a huge fan of full electric because of range and recharge limitations. But man those hybrids are something else. Regular 150s die fast because they're 150s not because they're hybrids lol

I still go for the ignition. This is my first time owning a push to start vehicle. I feel foolish on the regular. I'm just glad nobody is ever with me to see the shenanigans I pull off using all the tech this thing has.

Dude, that thing looks burly... love it!

I looked at that, but I'm not sure if having all that torque/load on one side of the hood is a good thing?

What's your opinion on the overall quality of the parts and the strength of the hydraulics?

They’re plenty sturdy, though obviously not a replacement for true anchoring points. I have the full Cali Raised MOLLE rig w/ my BAKflip. You’ll probably like it very much if you pull the trigger.

I’m considering replacing my MOLLE pouches with small Pelican cases bolted to the panels for waterproof storage. Truckbed gets super dusty on Arizona trails and I want to rinse it out every so often w/o concerns about wet pouches and water intrusion. Not to mention it would also add more lockable storage if I need the BAKflip open for extended periods.

So far I really like it. Can't really speak on long term durability. (Only time will tell) But I do like the fact that I didn't have to drill. I've done the "Redline" hood struts many times before.
This was a really easy install.

Only part I didn't like was the extra height of the hood. I'm only 5'8" so I almost need to jump to grab my hood to close it.
My 2018 Tacoma had a 6" lift with 35" tires and I still had no issue closing the hood with the redline struts.

For real, I do make a mean chocolate pudding pie though. 1 box pudding, 1 premade pie crust, 1 can whipped cream.
