I don’t have my wheels yet, but am very interested in an accurate speedo after driving my 1st gen around for a decade without one.
I am more familiar with the hypertech, but based on the product images, this is a unit that is plugged in and left behind the dash cluster?
The description on the manufacturers website reads : ”This plug and play device connects directly to your vehicle’s Diagnostic Link Connector Port and in just a few short hours your speedometer reads true again!”
Which is just confusing the heck out of me

How on earth did you get these to work on that grill? Everything I find does not fit it.

Yeah they aren't really clear on the connection... It goes inline. You unplug the speedometer connector on the back of the instrument cluster, plug the harness Rough Country gives you into the instrument cluster and the other end plugs into the OEM harness you originally unplugged from the instrument cluster.

There is a module that you configure with a computer. You have 3 choices,

Enter the tire size you are coming from and going to.
Enter the diameter in inches you are coming from and going to.
Enter the GPS indicated speed (like from Google Maps) and the speed indicated on the instrument cluster.

Then plug the module into the aforementioned wiring harness you placed inline. It stays behind the instrument cluster and you put it all back.

That’s awesome man, and here I am stoked to get a decent discount from a buddy in the off-roading industry! I have a silver sky and I thought the black would look much better on it. You’ll love those wheels , I have a set on my F150 with the “Bead Grip Technology” and they’re great wheels.

I saw a Pro in your color at the dealer, imo it looks like it has been anodized instead of painted, I liked it, the wife not so much…

That’s basically the same weight as the stock off-road wheels if I’m not mistaken. That’s friggin amazing! One day I’ll get some, just have to be careful here since they’re illegal in Cali.

Atleast thats what online spec sheets claim, I'll weigh them before mounting. And nothings illegal if they are "fake"
