Hopefully he’s helping with the repair bill! I had something similar happen with my first gen 4runner. I let someone else unspool the winch and he took it all the way to the set screw on the spool. Luckily when the screw gave it had some downward momentum and only went into the ground about a foot. Recovery’s can be scary! Glad everyone is ok!

 

That looks good. Would you know what the depth of the flip up is? Between the fairlead mount an the plate.

Also your pics have me a little confused (not hard to do I know). How did you mount this? It looks like the flip up hinge is hanging out the bottom. Arrow

 

Installed a 5lb propane bottle using an AT overland bracket. Thing showed up in like two days and is awesome quality well thought out. Now I can cook tacos on the beach

• Redarc Elite Towing Brake Controller relocated below the Parking Brake,
• Prewire for the KTJO Tailgate Lock & Opener module,
• Prewire for a bunch of other stuff.

Unfortunately, the Dynomat for the doors didn't show up, but we still have stuff to do, so no worries! Thanks @caribe makaira for the clutch design for the TR7 latching module for the Auto Highbeam button. @daveeasa for the 2-low cheater card found in my visor.

 

I like this one it has good depth for the hawse & flatlink with rope protector, but It only comes with the fairlead which I've already got two of. Might have to bite the bullet on this one anyhow and list the other fairleads in the BST.

yes so it has 3 different positions you can mount it and I just used some hardware like these.

That’s a great option. I just build a quick mount for a fire extinguisher and I was going to try to figure something out for a propane bottle…this looks really good and clean!

 

I thought about making one but then when I saw the price of the AT overland it was a no brainer. Time and material alone and it never would have turned out this good lol

 

Looks good I've been eyeing the PackOut line they've got alot of options. Also like the platform, nice & simple. Could it have been wider if you notchef for the trans tunnel?

How do you wire this in? one wire to positive and one to ground?

 

I installed a K&N air filter and an airflow intake accelerator. Idk about the positive reports on the accelerator but I figure it won’t hurt the vehicle…

 

The spare key to my LEER shell in in the hide-a-key. The spare fob(with the tailgate key) is in the bed, locked behind the shell. You could definitely fit an actual fob in the box I linked. It's a great little box, it has a rubber o-ring seal and foam padding inside.

I mounted it upside down. I did that because I don't have a winch and don't need it to flip up, or flip at all. It's a fixed piece with a metal backing (I did this so the plate doesn't bend when/if I drive through the car washes).

 

Picked up some maintenance accessories at the Dealership parts counter. Wiper Blades & Cabin Filter.
I’ll wait a few more weeks before I replace the charcoal cabin filter do too the heavy Pollen we’re experiencing.
