No idea, haven't formed enough of an opinion on them. They seem good because they are low profile. There isn't anything that sticks out like a sore thumb, but it's one of those things that it seems sturdy enough. Metal looked like metal, and the bends seem nicely radiused. It's one of those things, if you're looking at reinforcement, anything is better than stock.

Do you find the scoop interferes with vision? On my 4th gen Camaro I tend to drive with my neck leaning to the side.

Got some raptor lights installed with the TRD wiring harness all from Running4Tacos. One day I'll get the full LEDs and get the wiring harness from FBC but that will down the road. Next upgraded will be 17" TRD Rims and some KO2s

285/75/r16 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T’s, Extang 2.0 hard tonneau tri-fold. Billstein 5100’s front/rear with OME 886 coils and Headstrong off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL. All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series. BulletPoint Taco Bar with stubby CB mic holder and two-way FRS/GMRS radio holder. Uniden PRO505XL 40 ch CB. RCI engine and transmission skid plates. RCI sliders. Garmin Mini Dash Cam 2. CMC by Milogen Fabrication.
That’s why I went with the 3 leaf pack. Some of the leaf packs can be confusing. A reputable company will specify each or pair. Plus a complete leaf pack is much more expensive than a progressive leaf pack because you’re replacing the entire leaf assembly.

Looks good. Looks to be just a little to high so maybe some adjustable height mounting feet would help. Something like these from Sherpa might work, there are also other types available out there.

@Puppypunter, @kmorgan3 and I have discussed this one. MESO pulled it off (check his build thread) but didn’t describe how, I assume he modified the logic board. It does not appear possible (or at least it’s not easy) to trick the assembly into an amber DRL without opening it. Constant signal to the turn provides a single flash and then off. A high frequency to the turn still flashes which looks like hazards rather than DRL.

But, in the interest of knowing more, I upgraded my bench test light to a non crashed model and sent the crashed one to Kyle to tinker with in his lab. Since it’s already open and it was pretty cheap, I figure it’ll be a good sacrificial lamb.

If there is an easy way, it might be something @no vtec 4me could incorporate into his custom work with these.

So, Kevin’s custom OEM LED thread might be the best spot to camp out for news on this topic. I suspect a fair number of people would be interested.

I kind of like white for DRL myself with amber exclusively for turns.

Mostly what I want to customize on these headlights are the “TRD” and “PRO” pieces to dual TRD and black, I think a 3D print could work there, but it would take some tinkering to get just right. Better still would be a polymer with integrated resistive heat which could melt snow, but that would mean two extra wires and a tap into the mirror heat circuit.

Absolutely forgot to post the bed light kit install. Makes it super nice to work inside the bed with the cover on. 20220401_143450.jpg
