Thanks for the reply and your input too Goatfrog. I have a parts list, just wanted to know from someone with experience how big of a deal it is.

Wow! That looks great. Thinking of doing a similar thing to my TRD Sport. How is the noise while driving? (city and highway) Is it too loud?

    Thanks,

I haven't been on the highway yet, but on the city streets I can't here any noise at all. Just as quiet as the stock street tires were.

gave the truck a little refresh with some new brake pads, rotors, replaced the S&B dry filter with a new oiled one, and I removed the AVS bug deflector (still getting used to the look without after having it on for so long). whatever coating is on the bug deflector started flaking up in several spots. decided to just ditch it.

Kryptek typhon neosupreme seat covers from shearcomfort.com

easy to install and feel great. Only grip is I have no idea which head rest cover is driver or passenger. Back seat was easy too.

Replaced the ginormous air filter on my AFE intake. I’m the 3rd owner of this intake and the difference was very visible between the new and old. $200 into this intake completely now, totally worth it.

Installed Total Chaos Fabrication Tacoma Bed Stiffeners Part#48676 in my 2021 DCSB. Decided to do this after getting the Rola 59799 bed racks, on which I will carry lumber, etc. Nothing incredibly heavy, but given the structural flex in the Rola racks, and potential bed flex/cracking I'd read about here on TW, I figured what the heck. Install went very smoothly with one minor hitch: about 1/16" of space between the vertical side of the stiffeners and the bed frame. See pictures. Figuring cranking down on the bolts with the space there would pull/distort the bed frame at the bolts, I put washers in between the stiffener and the bed frame to fill the space. A little tricky to get them in there, but after tightening everything down, looks pretty good. I'd still give them 5/5 stars, nice heavy duty, good thick powdercoat, and good instructions.

Looks better than new! What happens during the full paint correction? Isn't there a clearcoat on these paint jobs?
