285/75/r16 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T’s, Extang 2.0 hard tonneau tri-fold. Billstein 5100’s front/rear with OME 886 coils and Headstrong off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL. All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series. RCI engine and transmission skid plates. RCI sliders.
Nice! I have the Headstrong Off Road 3 leaf progressive AAL (minus the overload leafs) with Billstein 5100’s. I just have some tools and recovery gear in a large tote that roughly weighs about 50 or 60 lbs. I like the fact that the progressive AAL works well under duress and still has good articulation off-road. Win win!

Haha. Ok I will try to install it tomorrow. Supposed to be warm tomorrow 13C. If it is really a PITA then I would wait till my oem light breaks or develops a leak. But I do not think that would happen cos they already did the fix for the recall. Wish me luck!

The medium. I don’t plan on building a super heavy duty overland rig, but wanted something that would be comfortable with a potentially upgraded bumper and me typically hauling around 400+ Pounds of gear in the bed.

Yeah, I’ve been watching that video and several others on you tube. Some say to unbolt the side pillars to drop down the headliner and have more room to access the light. I will undo the two hooks first and see what happens. I do not want to unbolt the side pillars. Too much work from what I saw from the videos.

Can confirm, too much work to do the side pillars. Even with the tool to help remove fasteners, they are a bitch.

I have an idea that may work. I have a telescoping magnet and I’ve use this method when working on my side view mirrors. Once I get the nut loosened up enough and sitting on the edge of the thread, I use my magnet tool to twist it off and pull on the nut without the risk of dropping it and use the same method to put it back on.
However, I’m not sure it will work since there seems to be tight space to work with

That's pretty bad. I have sets for both trucks and both were great out of the box. I ordered direct though

OEM LED mod swap is one of the best I’ve done and makes me smile every time I drive my truck, along with @KDMax Pro tune!
And of course my @MESO total stage 2 with extreme v6 switchbacks that I never get to see all the time.

Don't be scared. Just do this simple mod to prevent the scratches. I love the results on my 2020. One of the first mods I did. Just follow our friend @ClassyTacos installation. Many other guides on YT too.

I scored the lights on sale for about $1040 and then sent them off to @no vtec 4me to have the side markers swapped, chrome TRD pro badges removed, and interior bezel painted black.

installed the new Roam Rugged mount for the Roam 83L. Very snug fit and solid...yeah it's a bit pricey, but it worked out well for me and I didn't have to make any adjustments on my Prinsu crossbars.

*Oh, and I paid off the Tacoma. I'd been milking it since I was at 0% interest, but paid it off early and it's all mine now.
