Lol. Tell me about it. ~15 bucks a pop man and I needed two. If not for my OCD I would’ve just left it alone.

Take a screwdriver or plastic pry tool and pop out the clear housing. That’s what I did. I almost gave up too. It’s much easier to do it that way. Good luck.

    Moisture helps.

I also removed the rubber band around the casing and wet it then put it back on the casing, and it took no time to get it back on. After a couple of hours I figured this out.

There are excellent threads on both in the lighting section.

I want to do this, the sound deadening, to all of my vehicles. I’m jealous.

Like Monoman said, easiest is it just use a pry tool and pop out the entire housing. I wanted to avoid that due to having the glare reduction plates but ended up losing the drivers side bulb in the housing when trying to twist it back in and had to pop out the housing anyway. In hindsight it wouldve saved so much time and hand-ache to just go that route first

I have had the speakers and material to do it for over a year. I only found time because I broke my hand and am on work leave. But I do not recommend doing all that work one-handed!

I want to do both of these eventually. So you need a pigtail to connect them together?

Is this the same if I want to use all 3? Puddle pods, foot wel and v5 switchbacks? Been trying to read up on it but it seems it’s giving people issues

:rofl::rofl: Thanks! Needed a good laugh right now. Transitioning out of my current position to a new appointment in a couple weeks. Not a huge raise, but the extra $15k a year will help cover the rising gas prices here in Cali.

That's impressive, I didn't think these trucks could foie gras 12 quarts of oil. My OCD flips out if the dip stick is a smidge off. I guess I don't need to worry about it anymore. o_O BTW, did you ever check those spark plugs and wires? On second thought, just leave em.

Yes, you’ll need the V5 pigtails to connect the V5 to the Puddle connector, and the Footwell T-harness along with the splitter (used to be included with footwell kits). With this setup you’ll be using the Footwell T-Harness, not the Puddle T-Harness. The VLEDS splitter will only connect to the Footwells T-Harness.
