The kit is basically a fancy filter wrench, drain hose, and funnel.

I bought the wrench as a standalone, it's a nice one.

It's true about the valve. I installed it and immediately realized how vulnerable it is to the possiblity of kicked up road debris. It's a strong piece of metal, but it's one that I don't want to impact-test. So, TRD skid bought. It's only money I guess. :spending:

It's called MotivX oil change kit designed for our Toyotas. It includes the filter canister wrench, filter drain tool, and a two piece screw on funnel. Really a nice box of goodies that I picked up on Amazon. There are some youtube videos you can check out as well.

I do have RCI skid plates to protect the Fumoto valve.

Yeah that’s what I gathered from the videos. I think I’d like to get the aluminum cbi skid set down the road. Saving for a lift setup now

Custom switch came in, light bar should be in today as well and the bumper by the end of summer.

Current gf gave me a heads up on someone selling an alleged new OEM muffler tip for a Taco on FB Marketplace. First thought was it had to be some punk who probably jacked it but when meeting the kid he had the thing all wrapped up in its original box. OK seems to check out fine so ended up being not a bad $30 purchase, and I gotta say it looks better than expected. Now I'm obligated to do something nice reciprocal later on…

I have no issues with this design. At least it’s not on the side of the engine under the exhaust with barely enough room like my Lexus.

Put some 1" hub centric spacers on yesterday taken from my first gen. Slightly improves the look IMO.

I'm attempting to build my own 4Wheel Campers style pop up. Its going to be cozy lol, but I think it will end up being pretty cool in the end. You can follow along as I build on the Tube. EP 1 is up.

Took the truck to the dealership to have the 3rd brake light recall serviced. Upon inspection, this was found. Pretty nasty, kids were sitting back there too.

Less people drive on Vilano due to the soft sand. South of there on St Aug and Crescent Beach they restrict the pattern and times you can drive on the beach.
