I went with white and yellow set of fogs so I can use what I need depending on location and weather , with the push of a button or 2. Imo if you go all white or all yellow , you’ll find yourself in a situation where you’d wish you had choice. The rest is in pic. Also have a 8 gang AUXBEAM control panel etc etc.

Paid it off today! Now the truck is not "burdened" with debt and can be driven without that weight!!

Ha, I painted my drums Tuesday too. Since my truck is already in hovercraft mode while the suspension gets revalved (again), I pulled them off and painted them in the garage. Used the same paint but w/ a base of VHT high heat primer and engine enamel clear over top. Amazed at the amount of factory 'coating' that came off in the prep process, and amazed how terrible they already looked for only being 10 months old. This paint/process works very well on calipers when I've done it in the past but first time doing it on a drum and I think drums get a little hotter. Hopefully it lasts.

Also had no issues removing them.. just put a prybar between the drum and the base and the pop right out. Didn't have to retract anything - just make sure the parking brake is disengaged.

a little here, a little there
I was just looking at doing something like this, but just a hitch extender for my bike rack so I can lower my tailgate with the bikes still on. Wasn't sure about the "flex" and downward weight on the trailer hitch. Could this be a possible issue?

I went from 3 vehicles down to 1, so my Tacoma is the only vehicle ATM. And boy am I missing being able to leave the Tacoma on jack stands for a few days doing projects. I was actually trying to get the drums painted and the truck back on the ground in under 2 hours. Mission accomplished. If I knew 100% the truck wasn't going to fight me, I would have pulled them off.

But, if I was going through the trouble of pulling them, I would have probably just had them blasted and powdercoated. This is why stuff always snowballs for me, haha

You gonna put some cupcake batter in there and park in the sun? Make your truck smell all vanilla warm and fuzzy inside.

Getting a little bit closer to being able to wheel like I want. Added the TRD skid plate. Got a bit of a discount from the local dealer.20220623_132355.jpg
