Clay bar is sort of the next level up from an actual wax. You want to use a vehicle intended soap first that is meant to remove any existing / current wax or finisher, so that when you're done you just have clean clear coat.

Clay bar goes on immediately following that cleaning since you want zero dirt or dust on the clear coat when you apply. It takes some elbow grease, but your supposed to warm the clay bar (while still in its sealed package) in a bucket of warm to hot water (at least, I've found that to be the easiest method). Don't want to apply it while it's still hard since, one, it would not apply well, and two, it would just be a pain in the ass.

The general method is like wax, in that you do a good sized section, allow it to set a bit, then remove. I've made the mistake though of waiting too long to remove and THAT my good sir, is a shitload of work.

The good thing though is that once you've gone through the trouble, you generally don't have to do it again for a good amount of time, and you can use a synthetic wax / sealant on top of it that applies much easier, and your paint looks like liquid glass, plus it's much more protected!

Well, I spent a shit ton of hours putting my light bar on. I'm not going to sweet coat it, I'm pissed. Following the instructions made for mad frustrations. First off, installing the passenger bracket first as directed only caused interference with feeding the bar through. So, I had to remove the bracket, insert the bar, then re-install the bracket. Also, they do not tell you that you need to loosen the oil cooler bolts to move it out of the way to get the bar in. Finally got the bar in, tightened up the bolts and began wiring. Connecting the wires from the light bar directly to the battery worked fine, but every time I would connect to the wiring harness, nothing. The green light on the switch would turn on, but no light on the bar. I even tried using a different relay, nothing. I have wired many lights on my old truck and have never had this much trouble.

I finally pulled the harness out and had to come inside and call it a night. I do not know what the hell I did, but I followed multiple diagrams on how to wire a switch using a relay and I am at a complete loss as to what the hell is going on...

Sorry for your agravation with the install. But glad to know I wasn't the only one that had trouble doing this mod. I ended up getting a opt7 wiring harness and it was great quality. I also had a defective MICTUNNING switch that caused me some grief. I did a caliraised stealth mount. Light bar seemed good quality but the rest of the stuff they sent was crap. Even their YouTube vid on the install ends after the guy puts on the first bracket. I am betting because they didn't want to show him cursing and throwing wrenches with the rest of the install.

Haha right. I'm going to completely rewire it tonight and if that does not work then I will start throwing stuff as well hahah.

Agreed I got the Mastercraft couser mxt's $150 a tire, and through most of my research they are basically the cooper stt pro's. And they are fantastic!

Not the Toyos but same size and they are great tires and you will save a ton of money! Through research these are basically the cooper stt pro's. I paid $150 per tire.
