What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Wondering if the extra draw from accessories may speed that up? My battery is only 6,000 miles old and looks like that.. but I’m running 5 Baja lights and a compressor… but a lot of those miles are on dirt as well…

 

maybe but the battery should have vented caps, its kinda like light bulbs, some last 5 years and some last 1 year, is it still under warranty?

 

Ya it is its a 2021.. going to run it by there and see. I’ve heard our batteries are having issues….

That's a really cool set up you have there, do you mind telling me what front bumper you have along with the hood protector?

Front bumper is a Body Armor HiLine. The hood protector is an AVS Aeroskin II.

Front coilovers are the Bilstein 6112 with the Billet top caps (3") and the rears are Bilstein R8 5125s with a Toytec AAL (2")

Yup, essentially a Pro grille with bronze letters.

Your bed's interior will get unnecessarily wet like this. Get a 1/4in x 3/8in hose barb adaptor. This lets the drain tubes drain thru the pre-existing drain holes in the composite bed.

Not if you get the one pictured. There are some copycat's on Ebay that do not have the "S" on them and plastic vs metal keys. Also make sure you hear it click 3 times when tightening. Got mine at O'Reilly's

 

Please let us know after you've run the locking cap in winter if you have any trouble with the lock freezing up.
I want to run a locking gas cap but I'm afraid I'll be left stuck unable to open the thing when it gets extremely cold...like the stupid tailgate lock lol

Spray a squirt of water dispersant into the key hole every so often. Product like Amsoil MP.

This week: Picked it up from the shop (Krave), immediate 1200km road trip, some light off roading up Grouse Mountain, towed the boat around and dunked it in the lake.
