Same here. Mine seem to always stay tight. Might have to film a pull test and see how they do.

The scangauge device allows you to pickoff a number of parameters from the data bus in the truck via connection to the OBDII connector (called the DLC or Data Link Connector) above your left leg but under the lower dash, and present them on an LCD screen.
The DLC is also used to check and reset codes, which evidently this device can also do.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AAMY86?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

It's for people that want to monitor parameters like transmission temp or battery voltage and the like, and not have to put them up on the multi-media / head unit screen.

I also did the test tug, but later on it failed. I'm glad it is working for you guys though. I'm hoping it's just a bad batch that I bought. Because going back through and reconnecting....that sucks!

I wonder if you could use this when changing your transmission fluid to make sure there is enough in it since you need a specific temperature

I used mine when I changed the fluid in my 2013 years ago. It worked great. I also kept it hooked up all the time to monitor trans temps since I pulled a small camper quite a bit back then.

I'm not sure, but then again, I think the head unit by itself can display many different parameters, and the transmission fluid temp is probably (not sure) one of them. The scangauge is nice because you wouldn't need to have parameters up on the HU display, but could monitor them on the small LCD display.

I'm sorry, I don't have the truck YET! :humble:

Yeah it would beat having to do that whole song and dance with the temperature check. It’s like up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A with the shifter.

Pretty sweet rack! What do these mount onto, the factory bed rails or are they drilled directly onto the bedside?

Didn’t take a photo, but i swapped in the RAV4 radio knobs. Miles better than the stock ones. Not sure what Toyota was thinking with the baby knobs they used.

Had a friend in college that grew up in Africa. After the end of the school year, he flew into Lagos, got off the plane, found out it was 100 degrees and 100% humidity, and said "I can do this." He then realized it was 6:30 am and it was going to get worse. He thought about getting back on the plane.

I grew up in 10 to 20% humidity, so when I did my tour in Houston (usually above 50%), I was permanently sweaty. I was used to having it evaporate rather than just sitting there waiting to be wiped off.

chrome delete interior Morimoto XB headlights and fog lamps in amber
I chrome deleted everything, except for the 4x4 switch .how was the process for doing it? I watched a few YouTube videos and it looked to in depth for me to try and dissamble the entire switch to change out the chrome.

Pretty easy. Just be sure not to lose the spring and detent that might pop out. I'd recommend doing it in a clean, confined space, so that if you drop it, it's easy to find.
