I’d say pretty easy. No instructions or labels for which goes where and they had different attachments then what the installation video on Amazon had but other than that I’m really happy with them for the price. There’s some wrinkles that hopefully go away but even if they don’t it’s worth it for the protection from my kids! lol

I've used two apps on my phone (both called Sound Meter) and have gotten about the same readings. I haven't verified how good the apps are against a meter I trust though.

Note that normal conversation is about 60 dB and a motorcycle engine running is about 95 dB. Noise above 70 dB over a prolonged period of time may start to damage your hearing. Loud noise above 120 dB can cause immediate harm to your ears.

MBRP catback, Magnuson TVS 1900 Supercharger, Injen Evolution intake, Race Louvers RST hood vent, Avid front and rear guards and side steps, Cali raised front/ rear LED's, TRD Pro Skid plate, custom aux fuse box, Bak Flip tonneau.
Has anyone added louvers to their 3rd gen? I live in a desert (we hit 114 this summer and 120 last summer) and on top of that, I have a Magnuson and the truck is black.

Needless to say the engine bay gets VERY toasty. I'm looking at some off road specific louvers and wanted to see if anyone else has done this to get some inspiration and confidence for taking a grinder to my hood.

Yep, WeatherTech in-channel. Love them, have had them on all of my vehicles. Only thing with these, I found that the rears weren’t staying in with the “spacer” provided by WeatherTech, but was easily fixed with some 3M tape.

    Oh look, another mod....
Instead of louvers, why not swap hoods with someone who has a sport hood? You can easily turn the non-functioning hood scoop in to a functioning hood scoop with every little modification. I think it's about 1.5 inch x 14 inch opening.

That would give you a lot of air into the engine bay to help with cooling.

You can add them for only around $500. I also need them to fold due to the tight garage entrance.
