I have tried both husky and weather tech and found the weather tech ones better.

Put on spotter mirrors. Imo not significantly better than stick on fisheyes lol.

I wanted better blind spot coverage and also to see my rear tire on the pavement and the spotter part of the mirror is juuust barely convex enough to do it, but no extra.

Huskyyyyyy. Better fitment, more coverage and more comfortable on your feet.
Totally opposite experience here. Husky is built better and the ends don't curl up like the WT's do. I haven't been impressed with any WT products tbh.

Team Husky. Almost 7 years in my truck, 1 year in my wife's RAV4, everything still looks great.

They should have added turn signals to it like the Tundra ones

The proper way of adjusting your side mirrors to complement your rear-view mirror is to lean your head on the driver-side glass and adjust so the backend just becomes visible, then lean over the shifter and do the same with the passenger mirror. This creates an integrated view and gives you the widest viewing angle of everything happening around the truck.

Yeah, I've always kicked out my side mirrors to where I don't even see the body unless a sit at a weird angle and can see a portion of the rear fender

That's what I do! Theres no need to see your truck in the mirror, but there is a need to see closer to the blind spot.

It takes a day or two to adjust to the new settings, but once you've tried it "you never go back". Now if only I could convince my wife and kids to do the same. :annoyed:

Yeah I do that and it's enough to eliminate blind spots. You know you don't have blind spots if you can see cars passing you simultaneously in your rear and side mirrors cars in your sideview mirror and also out of your side window at the same time.

It's still not nearly as nice as having big enough mirrors to simultaneously eliminate blind spots and see your rear tires on the road like the ones below. I'm just spoiled by full size trucks and vans.

Also once you lose the rearview mirror, like in an ambulance or with a camper shell with poor visibility, it is very nice to be able to use the sideview to look behind you in your own lane, which doesn't work with sedan sized mirrors like the tacoma if you have them positioned to eliminate blind spots unless you basically lean your head against the window lol.

265/75/r16 KO2’s, Extang 2.0 hard tonneau tri-fold. Billstein 5100’s front/rear with OME 886 coils and Headstrong off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL. All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series.
I also use this method and couldn’t agree more. I do however bring them in a little when off-roading. It helps when you run into others on tight trails when you have to back up to accommodate squeezing by one another.
