Keeping it OEM…not that any of them give any substantial gains

The info was in the install instructions. I think it is because the metal clip scratches the body metal and can over time result in corrosion. Since it is the only metal clip in the kit I wondered if it was for grounding. I figured for $8 it was worth doing. Maybe not for all the time I spent to find it.

The sealer I found is: https://www.grote.com/electrical-connections/tools/ultra-seal-corrosion-preventative-sealant/99170/
    The instructions were here: http://toyotaparts.sparkstoyota.com/install/PK3B6-35JS0inst.pdf

Good “eye”. I’ve had this “Gas Can” Oakleys for over 15 years. This one stays in the truck. I mostly use Tifosi brand these days for MTB rides and leisure.

Thanks, I’m happy with the output when it’s not full of water and their roof rack is very well built.

It’s been fricking never ending this year with the bugs and all the guts up front. Still need to wash mine from our recent trip last week. All worth it tho. Lots of great trips this year. Oh, and used a spray Ceramic spray which really helped when it came time to clean.

Just ordered @MESO Pro shift knob to replace the ECT button and the chrome delete kit for the start, 4x4, and cup holder. I got the MGM to match the interior. It’ll be perfect to install all these mods the same time…

Funny, that’s exactly what I just did. Specially on the TSS sensor, headlights and fogs. makes it easier to clean.

I just put mine on the other day. Have to do it again because I used the 4th slot for the clip when I should have used the 3rd. The front is too high and I hate that look. Thought about a rear spacer, but I don’t want it that high. Oh well, should go easier and faster the second time around, right?

SCS Ray 10's, Clazzio Leather Seats with bun warmers.
Bilstein 6112/5160. Fronts set at 10/9. I didn't have much lean even with a full tank. Used the jack under the lca to compress the spring.
SPC UCA. Surprisingly easy install. Passenger side was slightly harder. Used a 3/8" extension as a punch to push that stupid bolt all the way out.
Ecgs bushing. What a pita. I don't think anybody ever said how hard the axle is to get out.
@HeadStrong Off-Road 3 leaf AAL. This aal is the way to go. No cutting, direct bolt on. Took about 1.5 hours to do the rear.

Already had the wheels and tires. 265/70R17. Had to trim the bumper, remove the mud flaps, and set the caster to 3.5 to get them to clear.

ECTxactly! I like using the ECT along with my tune when I needed more torque and HP during heavy loads.

Interesting. I don’t remember anyone in the YouTube videos doing that step but I could be wrong. They always make it look easier
