Haha, thanks! I was in the process of selling my home which had no space to work on the truck (garage). I can happily say, I have a home with a garage now so I have no excuses to get things on!

Got Lights in bed installed the other day as well as TRD shifter and red pull tabs for the rear seats. Also my trailgate fits perfect from my old truck. Going to do some red accents to break up the black inside.

True story. A friend of mine died when his fire extinguisher came off the mount attached to his jeeps roll cage. He swerved to avoid an animal in the road and it caused the jeep to rollover. The fire extinguisher came off from the momentum and hit him in the head. He died instantly. Super tragic and completely avoidable. I keep my fire extinguisher in the bed near the tailgate so its still pretty easily accessible.

It’s about 1/8” off. I honestly thought it would be more, only because of the install of the cap and the Thule rails.

If anyone is looking for a good quality remote starter then BestBuy has one for $120 installed (reg price is $320). Have had same one on wifes suv for over 2 years with zero problems and does work with factory remotes. Bought 2 $300 popular brands for wife and had to return both. Ordered one for daughters new 2022 RAV4 because Toyota wants her to pay a subscription to use the factory remote. Ordered one for my 2008 Taco and may order one for sons 2012 Taco. At $120 it is unbeatable and a no-brainer. Since I am a totaltech member I used my rewards (and a $25 credit card promo) and only paid $96 total with tax installed for my Taco. Just have to make the installation appointment. Brand is Compustar. Model is RS1B-DC3. Read the reviews at BestBuy.com. I know it works well on our 2016 Escape and reviewers say it works great on 2nd and 3rd gen Tacomas. Yes $120 total with FREE installation.
    EDIT:
My apologies because that was my totaltech member price. The sale price is $229 and is still a good price installed. Paid $265 for same one over 2 years ago.
