What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

The fog housing comes out with 1 Phillips screw. Just remove the housing and shake it around until the bulb comes out. Cheap bulbs suck, this happens all the time with them.

Looks just a hair glitterier than mine that I did around 1900 miles, but not a huge cause for concern. These filters kind of suck to change but the benefit to cartridge is you don't have to work to see what's in them. My '14 tC has the same filter so I'm used to it by now lol.

I did replace my fog lights, headlights, and grille in one go - only one tear down for several upgrades. I was a little surprised at just how far you had to tear the front of the truck apart in order to get to everything. The headlight teardown will get you nice access to the fogs as well.

 

I need some super white for all the damn tiny rock ships around my truck…

I wish you the best in chasing that dragon. Trying to keep little chips and scrapes covered while driving rocky roads feels like trying to pee on a house-fire.

 

Such a damn hassle. Too much construction/18 wheelers around these parts. Maybe in another 10yrs I’ll repaint the truck

I have one stalled on mine and it will impact your approach angle. It sticks out a bit so it will come in contact first. It's not a massive loss and the ability to have a good recovery point makes up for any loss. Once I get my new bumper I'll be removing mine and selling it.

Today I put my cats in Caliraised prison. I live in Florida where you'll be shot on the nuts if your were under a truck stealing cats. The whole idea seems strange but i'm new to lifted trucks. Very nice pieces and easy install.

 

Yea I left it taped for about two days, and it seems to have stayed down.

 

cheap little Amazon upgrade to keep my flashlight from sliding around lol. Hell they sent me two sets for 18$ ‍♂️

 

Got most of my Black Friday goodies, now I just need warmer weather to install them.
Auxbeam 8, custom left side panel, 400w any time wire kit with outlet, and spotter mirrors.

I'm still waiting on a new honeycomb style grill and bamf light mounts so I can mount some big old-school round lights behind the grill for my aux high beams.

Installed a CVT 55” awning on the Prinsu rack. Perfect size for my preference. Should be great along with the overhang of the extended annex on the RTT.




If anyone is looking for a good, cheap, awning these are going for $125 (originally $299) on the CVT website. I heard they’re discontinuing this model which is why they’re on such a crazy sale. It also has an LED light strip on it. They have this 55” and a 99” ($150) also.
