I swapped out my reverse lights to led as well but sometimes I just need a little more light. Installed these on a switch and it really adds light when I need it.

If I could afford the bumper/tire carrier I would get it, but I currently am using both kidneys, my liver, and my eyeballs. By the time you pay for the bumper, powdercoating and shipping, you could get another vehicle.

I'd go the diy weldable route, then bed line spray it yourself. My buddy and I built my tire carrier for not much money at all

I'm trying to grease the bushings on my UCAs but can't fit a socket/torque wrench due to the brake line. I've tried different combinations of shallow and deep sockets with and without extensions but nothing seems to fit. Also tried bending the line a bit which also didn't work. This is only on the driver's side as the passenger side has the line routed differently (last picture). Does anyone have some ideas?

Edit: It's a 12mm bolt that attaches the brake line bracket.

    A few.
Try a Crows Foot Socket on your torque wrench. You will need to run it 90 degrees to the axis of the torque wrench. If you run it in line it will add length to the torque wrench and increase the force. At 90 degrees it will be offset but at the correct torque spec.

    Crows Foot Socket example.

Here’s a video that explains the orientation of the wrench/socket

If I remember correctly there's one bolt holding that brake line in position if you take it out loosens enough where you can fit a socket in there just by just pressing the lines a little bit out of the way.

Or this… then you don’t need to buy a crow’s food socket set.

Great thanks! I'll give it another shot in the morning. Feeling around there it does seem like a single bolt.

I’ve seen your build thread and I’m in awe of what you’ve done/know about auto electric and being prepared. I’ve been skiing a lot already but destroyed my shoulder last week so I’ll be out of your way for a while.

How much weight do you carry? It’s my first winter with a truck but otherwise I’m quite used to CO winter roads (drive between Golden and to/around Summit County a lot, and occasionally to the western slope). I’d put the weight towards the tailgate for more leverage. Just have to leave room for the skis.

Installed a white noise machine when reversing. 95db was the quietest I can find so I covered the speaker with tape to make it half as loud.
mounted to frame with an inline fuse tapped to the red reverse wire. Just needs finishing to tidy up and put wire loom.
