None to speak of, just enjoying it for the moment.
Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I am not looking for a "high-end" tonneau but thought getting one of these might be ideal to keep a few things mostly dry in the bed and still easily roll it back for bigger stuff.

Got my U-bolt flip kit installed, and a weekender waterport installed a couple weeks back.

I bought the strips at DIY center, but Lowe's/HD will have them as well. 1" wide, not too thick for my crummy drill and my angle grinder cut right through them. Measure, drill, rustoleum and you're good to go. Here's a pic of the first version I made (different bed cover/truck). Now I'm thinking of something similar on the other side for my water port, but we'll see.

Or those big warning stickers they put on power cords!

Does it count that I still have the OEM cap under the back seat, Officer?

Im running a dobinsons mrr all around set at around 2.25 inch lift in the front and icon rxt leaf packs in the rear. I had to do the cab mount chop and beat the pinch weld down and trim some of the fender liner and inner corner of the fender and fender flare. I still rub a little bit so I have to cut more of the cab mount. They couldn’t add more caster during my alignment since the bolt was seized in the bushing so I need to get now lower control arms and will hopefully help with rubbing to have more caster. I have a little of the front part of the wheel well cut but that’s pretty easy to do once you get the tires so you know where to cut or heat up and push in. And thanks I feel like it’s finally coming together nicely. Just gotta make my tires fit a little better

Installed my RokBlokz xl mudflaps. Hopefully no more, or at least less, debris getting slung up the side of the truck.
I am currently running 255/70r17 with 0 offset and have about an inch of space between tire and flap at full lock.

I went from a 2008 to a 2020 model. The salesman slipped the ECT on so I would not be shocked and change my mind.

    Some stuff
I noticed that when I test drove a gti the salesperson had it in sport mode. I didn’t understand why, she yelled at me twice. Once for using the brakes, they were strong and touchy, I was not used to that, and once for getting on the skinny pedal, not even that heavily.

Finally got everything installed and dialed in! I had a Rough Country 6" drop bracket lift that was already on the truck when I bought it and I sent her a little too hard lol(first picture). Found a local donor that we cut the subframe off of and took the other parts that were needed to swap on the new Dobinson lift. Also removed the AAL that I had in my OME leaf pack to fix the rake now that the car was on a true 3" lift kit. With everything said and done took about 2 weeks to gather all the parts and measurements to get everything buttoned back up. Along with the new lift I also installed a almost complete set of skids from @JLee at BayAreaMetalFab, just missing the t-case skid that I need to reroute my exhaust before installing.

According to the owner's manual, 10k. Of course, this question could elicit some serious debate.

where did you get your front license plate bracket? or did you use some sort of bumper to prevent the rattling against the front bumper?

Swapped out the green factory valve stem caps with these. I’m expecting to gain at least 4 horsepower. (1hp per tire)

So I saw a Toyota Care guy video. A customer followed the 10K oil change recommendation. At 120K his Toyota Camry engine was toast. Yes, the oil can last for 10K miles, but the filter clogs around 3-5K miles so best to not keep circulating the gunk. My new 2020 model will get the same 5K mile interval oil change my 2008 model got. It lasted me 249K miles over 14 1/2 years. Only cost me $350 in repairs for all those years. One front hub, one center console latch piece, and one blower resistor assy. Maintenance of course along the way and a recall on leaf springs and driveshaft was all the rest. I did all (49) oil changes myself with a new washer every time. Not with this cartridge crap though, yes for only $500 I can relocate that filter to the top with a screw on but I can get a whole lot of oil changes for $500. Not to mention I am now 15 years older too..........

Are you mt or at? I have a lot of research to do but preliminarily I’m feeling like the tune is 80% remedying gear hunting on the auto.
I do think I will eventually end up with a tune. But, I just bought the truck used pre-certified and will probably do 20k on it to make sure it’s clean. Im not worried about the warranty long run but I just want it for protection from the last owner if needed.
Does anyone have a good resource for me to study for tunes like a “tune mega thread” or anything.
    Thanks!

I have a MT and the tune is worth it.
    The 2 best mods to do to a MT in order of importance is;
    1 - Remove the clutch accumlator, ADM - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/mt-accumulator-delete-mod-adm-and-bs-thread.568303/
2 - Get the engine tuned

The ADM vastly improves clutch feel. The accumulator basically slips the clutch for every shift making it tough to judge when the clutch is fully disengaged.
I had an OV2 tune for about 2.5 years and just switched to KDMax 9
The low end power the tunes add make 1st and 2nd gear way better, they get rid of all the engine surging, and make the pedal more responsive.
Both of those mods make daily driving and dealing with traffic way better.

I feel the MT gets more benefits in the low end and the Auto gets more benefits in the high end.

Look good! It’s those little details that really tie a truck together. When I installed mine I actually saw about 1.25 horsepower per cap and a pick up of a couple mpg!
