Yesterday I did a little more on the cosmetic side of things... I put the black door badge covers on a while ago, so I added the red overlays to make it pop a little more, then I added the little mountain scene decal because I thought it looks great and just subtle enough. But then I couldn't stop, and removed the OE bed decals, and replaced them with the red. Then I gave it a wash, and went to pick up lunch. Got two compliments as soon I got out of the truck in the parking lot, so I guess it doesn't look bad?

It’s nice. It looks a little odd when all the lights come on but it’s nice to not blind myself at night looking for something when I need the map light. It’s a good change.

yeah, they're quick and easy for a small change, only need a small length of wire, a ring terminal, and female spade crimp to create a ground connection. oem connector plugs right in otherwise.

lots of subaru guy's run them, and recommend a relay kit for best 'oomph'. they work fine without.

that was one of my first 'why not' mods. mostly because i had them laying around doing nothing. then i found an air horn in my old parts.

the low-tone 300hz supertone paired with the air horn is the perfect 'HELLO!' to everyone else. the low-tone hella fills in some of the shrill gaps of the air horn to give the noise a little more 'body' without resorting to a full compressor/tank setup. though the air horn required a relay kit.

the same air horn as i put on my other car, it's getting the low-tone supertone later on this spring:

Aerosol Goof Off sprayed onto a microfiber to remove the logo (it came off with 0 effort) immediately followed by a dish soap and water rag to get off as much residue as possible. Then a couple of passes with quick detailer and finally a coat of wax to bring back the shine and fill in micro-scratches. Whole process took about 5 min including letting the wax haze up.
