Nope! Already there, just uses a slightly smaller bolt. Horns end up perfectly centered too using the existing horn plugs with no cutting. Grounded each horn to its bracket bolt. Super easy install.

 

Totally. Cheap and easy, like my wife.

For $10 a bulb on Amazon I'll deal with any replacement costs. I just put these in back in October, so I can't comment on longevity as of yet. I upgraded my reverse light bulbs as well as my fog light bulbs based on @crashnburn80 writeups and testing

Right, I've read that amazing thread on lights but have to admit it doesn't all stick in my head (and that it is 309 pages...).
Based on the bulb comparison, just swapping out the stock bulbs for a better H11 would help, and then the H9 takes it a step further. And thanks also to @musicisevil for the direct link to the post on removing the insert.

Time to go bulb shopping! (although I did that yesterday for my son's RAV4 - but I made him do the swap because it's something ya gotta know how to do!)

 

Today I found out the new Tacoma's have two types of cruise control settings.
Radar Controlled and Fixed Speed. So I have been dealing with the bull shit
speed adjusted radar cruise control for 7 months. At least now I can get
back to using my cruise and it not slamming the brakes cause some car gets in
my lane.

 

Yep. Did the +60 h11 swap for about 18 months before the H9. The +60 H11 was better, but the H9 swap made driving at night so much better

Hade to replace a speaker so I made a quick guide for removing the front door panel.

 

Are these the high/low tone set or?? You have a sound clip?

 

Made some cheap-o diy organizers out of an old tool belt, thermoplastic and Velcro. Saw the ready made ones but I didn’t want to pay $40.
