For these reasons my tint guy will only put nano ceramic on sunroofs. Been running 35% on the panoramic sunroofs on my tC for a few years in Phoenix without issues. Blocks a SHIT TON of heat that I used to feel on the top of my head. If it doesn't shatter here it shouldn't anywhere lol.

Thanks Yoshi! Fitment could have been a little better, and the passenger side of the y pipe should have been 1/2" longer, but overall was pretty painless minus them saying to reuse a gasket that does not fit. Sounds a little throatier paired with the MF Overland exhaust. More similar tone to the 4.0l.

Not sure. Just F.M. the station is a little weak by the time I drive an hour to work but before install, I had no problems. Maybe a little interference at that frequency for radio station.I will try another station after work. 98.7 is about in the middle so I will see.

Oh MAN, does that look good! Nice pic, and wow, I'm thinking that's the way it should have been from the factory. Jeesh, our OEM exhaust pipe is actually a low spot on our undercarriage. Do you have zerks on that nearby driveshaft u-joint? I'm guessing its going to be taking some more heat with this setup, but certainly worth it for the gain in clearance.

You're probably right. Brake light really wipes it out.. but the station is not a 100k watt station and I'm 1 1/2 hour drive from it.. lol

It is a really nice setup that I haven't seen installed much. Toyota has always sucked with their y-pipes from what I've seen. The Borla kit came with heat shielding for the control module on the transfer case and for the cabling running down. I believe the '21 doesn't have any greaseable u-joints on the rear section of the driveshaft but I haven't specifically looked to confirm this. I have ordered some additional heat shielding for the bottom of the body on the driver side and to stick onto the new transfer case box, but have not decided if I'm going to wrap the piping at all yet in that section. I don't imagine it will have any issues in this configuration though.

I never liked the under seat mounting. I just connected a vled max pod to the rear console

they do not daisy chain like the strips do so if you want more than on either spice or get a Y splitter

I like your install, the vled max pod is simple/clean and looks really good. Seems like the light output is more than sufficient.

Quick test during lunch break. Only frequencies from 90 MHz to 99 MHz are effected by the tail lights. I will shut up about it now.

Killed some speaker/doors vibrations, by tightening space between door and door cover. And found but couldn't retrieve clip for triangle plate thing.

As long as you don’t listen to NPR then you’re all good. (NPR stations usually being on the left hand side of the dial)

I recently got my GMRS license and have been trying to educate myself about antennas, ground planes, EMR, and RF…

You have joined the "I lost a door clip" club. Happens to everyone.
I prevented this from happening again by taping over the hole with electrical tape and then cutting a small slit in the tape.

If the lights are generating RF interference, switch brands or go back to incandescent or halogen lamps.

Please. Those lamps have very well defined failure modes, whereas LED designs don't always.

So if you are in love with the poor behaving lights, If you have an Android or Apple smartphone, and the head unit supports it, go use Android auto or AppleCarplay...

Or if all you can do is a Bluetooth connection between your phone and head unit, or USB connection, then load an app like TuneIn, and see if your station of interest is being streamed. Or use Spotify, Pandora, iHeart Radio...
    There is also GooglePodcast.

Lastly, FWIW, some stations have their own streaming app.
