Yeap, unfortunately, the Tint guy was all into removing door panels and reinstalling them, so I was out of the picture to do it right. :(

Put in 110 power into the front. Now don't have to power phones laptops in the bed
Recharges phones much faster than 12v.

Is the plug secure in that location? Some have claimed the tabs don't hold it very well there and it needs a bit of glue on the back? Getting ready to install mine and thinking about putting it there or on the back of the center console. :notsure:

So far have had no problems. hasn't popped out and is secure. But I guess a little glue wouldn't hurt.
I use it about once a week. Start small on the hole and make it so its a tight
    fit for the switch.

I just used a straight scalpel and cut the extra tab. I was also looking into the adapters and thought the same thing.... Why add another point of failure

Thx! I’m glad I decided to do the throttle body too. I’ll try to do it more often…that rag was filthy.

    Right??
How often do you clean yours? I’ll try to do mine every oil change (5k). I have one coming up soon. I been thinking of getting an oil catch can.

I've had a lot of windows tinted and never has the tint guy taken the door cards off. Its pretty easy to leave the tint a little long then squeegee it under the trim. Your tint guy is making a lot of extra work for himself.

If you do end up doing this I'll be curious to see how it all comes together. I like the idea of mounting the plug back there over the passenger side as I'd probably use it for a backseat fridge.

Recently put my stock tires and rims on for the salt and muck and 2” spacers but couldn’t take the stock tires so had some Duratrac’s put on today. One day and have to say the Good Year’s felt great and look so much better I’ve always used BFG K02’s so this was out of my tire comfort zone :mudding:

More progress on the swing out. I have no use for Jerry cans, so I decided to mount an All Pro Off-road cooler rack to take up the remaining space.. Now I just have to figure out a way to secure the Yeti, paint, and apply some finishing touches..

Has anyone ever found a way to throw a lock on these Destaco style latches? There’s a rivet in front of the handle when it closes, so I’m considering drilling it out and throwing a lock in the hole. Worst case if it makes the body of the latch weaker I can throw a weld bead on the edges where the sides meet..

Edit: I will also have to relocate the back up camera

Well that sucks. But the big dent should be able to be taken out. Not sure about the top one though.
