    Minor stuff.
Installed the rear charging port today. Now the kids won’t fight over who gets to use the charger.

What brand? Where did you get it and how much? I have really been agonizing over adding one. Thanks for your help.

Changed my oil and filter and transmission drain/fill at 65K. Next weekend is transfer and front/rear differentials.

Used the Motivx Tools kit. Definitely a good experience when it comes to quality and helping keep things clean.

Luckily I ordered extra transmission drain bolts. The 5mm hex overfill drain bolt stripped trying to take it out. Had to use vise grips to get it out. Replaced with a 14mm (i think) drain bolt and washer. Got the idea from a Tacomaholic video. It paid off.

Interested in the Fumoto Valve, so if anyone has some thoughts, please send them.

    A bunch of shit...
Well, I installed the dash cam that I should have had yesterday. Really easy. I also added a battery monitor. My battery is getting old, so I figured I'd keep an eye on it until I figure out what I want to do down the road.

I had the fumoto drain valve on my previous car, 2015 wrx. Loved it, never had an issue with it

Besides the wheels, the other thing I did yesterday was the 8000 km (5000 mile) first service at my dealership. I’m actually just under 7000 km, but the timing was convenient. Had them do an oil and filter change anyway ….somehow waiting until 16,000 km felt wrong…

BTW: as a “reward” for coming to the Toyota dealer for my first service, I got a card that gets me 3 cents a litre off fuel at ESSO/Mobil stations for the next year…not huge $$, but kind of nice.

Okay, okay, last photo of the home made swing out.. But I’m done! Pulled it off, cleaned it all up, primed, and painted it today along with some smaller finishing touches.. very happy with how it came out and had fun doing it. It kept me busy for a while.

I need this for my kids man, they mess up the back seat, I could cut some holes for the car seat lockdowns

Finally washed both Tacos after almost 6 months. Recently upgraded the headlights on the white Taco to the OEM TRD Pro. The install of the headlights was much easier and faster than expected. Got them on in less than 2 hours. Love the look of the headlights. Looking to do the same upgrade on the Barcelona red when a good sale comes up.
