If you’re doing a low beam swap there’s a green tab in the factory harness connector that pulls right out and it’s a direct plug in for the h9 over the 11

Np some good info in another thread the green insert easily pulls out and no need for a harness adapter

Got a rock chip last night on the way to work. Came out to a nice crack. Now I have to decide if it’s worth the $400 to get the thing calibrated after replacement. I don’t use auto dimming headlights or lane departure, I just don’t want any lights popping up on the dash.

Ugh. I got my first rock at 600 miles. I won't replace it in the winter here; just asking for another rock hit. Probably in April. The crack on mine is behind the mirror and is working its way across the passenger side.

None to speak of, just enjoying it for the moment.
My insurance covers the calibration after a $100 deductible for the windshield, maybe you have similar coverage?

Pulled a little surprise out of my tire. Just happened to see something shiny out of the corner of my eye while getting in my truck. Luckily no sign of a leak:fingerscrossed:20220909_091020.jpg 20220909_091031.jpg

FYI: Safelite is able to recalibrate the windshield after they install a new one. They offer a 'Dynamic' or Static' recalibration, both of which take around one hour to complete.

Finally got one of these. Opted for single mount only; dont think I wouldve really been able to use the multi mount. Install was easy and holds my phone securely!! Very happy with it

    Looks good.
I went with the Expedition Essentials 3TPAM for my Tacoma. It was not difficult to install, but it did take a bit of time to get it installed due to the wiring. I like that there are multiple mounting points, and that it has two USB charging ports.

Did you get yours directly from EE or some where else? I have been looking at these lately but they are out of stock most places.

I bought it directly from EE. I see that is is backordered until 2/17/23, so not long to wait. It looks like you can place an order now, and they'll ship when in stock.
FYI: I believe that if you are military/1st responder, that EE offers a discount. You'd need to contact them to confirm though.

Now that my tonneau cover is on, this is near the top of my list. Anyone have info on OEM vs off-brand? Not just price but in brightness.
