Swapped out the OEM chrome mirror pod blinkers for the R4T sequential signals.

The smoked lens is a nice new 'black' accent/addition and the sequential signal looks great and is very bright.

Got Leer topper installed. Bed rug also. Quality seems good. Paint match is questionable. I think it looks worse in picture but it's not great....

I use a Meadowlark XL seat hammock in the F350 tow vehicle, which i love, and the one I have in the Tacoma is now unavailable so I'd likely do another standard size Meadowlark in its place. It's super tough, well padded and waterproof unlike the more standard yet tough waterproof material of the Tacoma unit.

The real trick here is the Track Mat I place on top of the dog hammock which provides a full sized and very stable surface for 5 dogs weighing in at 180 lbs combined. The stiff mat can limit seat adjustment for tall folks unless modified. This combo has lasted 13 years without issue. It also doubles as a on ground work surface, which is rad. However I can't recommend the NAC&ZAC door covers. 2 sets either blew away in the wind or curled and refused to stay in place long term. They also fell out often when using the power windows (Rush reference).

I use a combination of Slowton and Vastar dog seatbelts attached to top quality harnesses, such as Icefang, PotPet, and Rabbitgoo, at the metal chest d ring at all times. Please stay away from the Cooyoo seatbelts as the clips fail and the belt connections constantly self release. I've also had the plastic d ring on the OneTigres backpack break immediately, but that was replaced with a good carabiner and still performs beautifully. The leashes can also double as straps to secure items in the seat.

We also use a faux sheepskin washable center console dog bed in both trucks for the dachshunds and they both love it. It frees up room in the back for the big kids and gives the littles a clear view. Unfortunately I'm having trouble locating the name.

It's easy to get creative with the leashes and harnesses I've mentioned so everyone is secured in place. Everything is quickly removed for washing and access plus can serve more than one function.

I understand the lurking. Mine is a lease so I am being careful on what mods Incase I can't buy it out of the lease. If not I will be shopping for older model that I can afford.

I liked the harnesses. It gives you about 6” of extra slack to maneuver while plugging into the lamp. It seemed easier.

No rattle but kinda sounds like a mud tire going down the highway. I raised the rack off the roof as much as I could. If I lowered it to where the rubber edge touches the roof it might eliminate that wind noise.

No rattle. Very sturdy when assembled. You can hear the wind.

They were a good purchase for $50. They certainly do the job. I'd say at $60 the OEM switch, although handy, was a bit overpriced

Since getting my access cab, my dog is mystified at the fact the windows can’t be rolled down, and he lets me know it until he remembers he has the rear window open. However, I think he misses the wind.

It's all about the windows. The husky is much like yours and has a running diatribe about opening the windows on days where climate control or highway speeds prevent it. The border patrol collie believes they are evil and must be attacked whenever they move. The lab enjoys a good sniff occasionally but also prefers the back window. The 2 dachshunds are happy to be in the dog throne so they can see out of the windows for a change. One prefers my lap while the other would much rather be with his big brother, the lab, in the back seat. We call them the twins.
