What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Added some Diode Dynamics SSC3 lights on Rago Fab low profile ditch light brackets. Applied some Lamin-X amber film to the stock fog lights. Also added a couple usb ports for charging my various items that attach to my dash mount.

 

Got some patches added today. The guy who tuned my truck gave me the stormtrooper one and it turns out I'm into placing patches and the way the look!

 

I will definitely post pics when they are on. I have to get a few more parts. Will be doing a DRT Fab cab mount relocation as well.

When I upgraded my headlights I sold my led drls for $300.
At -10f I got fogging in both of my new lenses and freaked out about the LEDs not being able to burn off the condensation. Started trying to figure out the logistics of getting them warrantied and realized I’d be SOL if anything happened to either of my new headlights.
Call me dramatic, but having never owned headlamps that I can’t fix myself (bulb replacement), I feel better having something on hand to swap the out the oem LEDs with in case anything goes wrong in the future.
Bought a set of led drls for $200 off a guy who swapped them on his SR with some depo TRD pro LED knockoffs.
All is right in my overthinking mind, and dude is planning on selling his SR for a titan.
Guilt free and 100 in the black!

10 minute job...changed out a dying LED driver on the passenger headlight...it wasn't completely dead but the LED was emitting a weak light. Got nearly 5 years out of it so I'm not complaining. Same LED lamp with a new driver.

 

Debadging was the first thing I did when I got the new to me truck. Doors, tailgate, and TRDOR bed stickers. It looks so much cleaner!

I’m not big on emblems and stickers. But the only vehicle I could find in my desired trim, options, and color already had the blackout package. Hard to remove stuff I just spent a couple benji‘s on a few months ago. So I think just then TuRD stickers will go and possibly the V6. I’ll keep the side Tacoma’s.

 

Nice! That's a very rare configuration. I'm going to assume there are less than 2,000 Barcelona Red TRD Pro Tacomas. Most were automatics so this is a unicorn

 

Finally did my H11 to H9 conversation. I am looking forward to the first night drive with them to see the difference.

It was the final mod I needed to make for my headlights. I messed around for 2.5 years trying to find a better solution to lighting on the cheap and this was it

 

I got them installed today. I'm very happy with the way they look!

 

In an effort to give the dog as much room in the back seat as possible, managed to get a Hooke road overhead panel to fit.
